Racoon city

No, not Resident Evil.

So, My GF went out on the porch to have a smoke and i went out there to keep her company.

My porch is about %90 windows and after standing there for about a minute i notice this big head pop up in one of the windows, and it proceed to just stare at me. At first i thought i was a small dog, so i was taunting it telling it to ā€œcome hereā€, and soon after, it walked right up to the door, and well, it was a big ass racoon. :stuck_out_tongue:

My GF being the person she is, got really excited and ran inside and grabbed a bunch of food. Next thing i know, there are two other big raccoons and a smaller one running over to join the original one. They started going to town on all the bread and cat food she threw out there.

Point is, i have no idea if i should be happy that she gave some nice animals some food in the middle of winter, or if i should be worried that now i might have some local dumpster divers lurking around and making a mess in my yard.

Last time this happened we ended up with two cats, which we had to give to the ASPCA which cost us like $100.

Curious to see where this will end up :p:rolleyes::stuck_out_tongue:

Totally random, i know

Fixed that for ya :stuck_out_tongue:

How do you know he loves her generous nature? She could have given away their life savings to a Nigerian prince and then almost left him for a raccoon.

LOL. Yeah that is defiantly more appropriate (at least from my point of view )

Strangely my house doesn’t have a basement, but has like a 1 foot tall gap between the ground and the floor and i’m almost positive i have heard them roaming around down there recently. :p:eek::stuck_out_tongue:

God i hope not. lol :p:D

Attic space as well.

I actually wouldn’t know, as the second floor of my house is all apartments. Though, awhile back one of our tenants did hear banging from the third floor, i thought it was squirrels at first, but now who knows :stuck_out_tongue:
