Radaggon's Mask and Rimetongue's Mask

I don’t have any Vitality Setups around this set. This set will be used on an existing Acid Concept.
Sadly Leafmane RE kinda sucks (compared to Vitality)

I always wanted it to be an Acid Set so the Vitality mods on it kinda irk me. But I am still onboard with either Vitality/Acid focused conversion. But I am very much on board with no conversion and moving conversions to other useless items such as Abyssal Mask or Venomtongue Mantle

I feel it’s a bit early to go asking for large changes. Let people figure out what weird things to do with this set, it’s certainly interesting to me, I love weird conversion options. But since I play self found it’s going to take a while before I can tinker with this, unless I want to grind crucible (I don’t, eww).

Guys, give it one month when people have test the set extensively before suggesting some changes.

Heck, spellscourge set that everyone deems as garbage is actually a hidden gem when superfluff make a battlemage around it.

I agree. It should be noticed, though that Spellscourge was buffed before Fluff posted his build (1.0.4.0). It could be argued that the set was crucible-viable before the buffs but cruci was way too easy back then (170 wasn’t released yet)

This. Also, I really don’t like “pick a specific legendary set and tailor your build to it” being the dominant strategy for building characters, and that Crescent Moon idea would further restrict my options by locking me into a specific weapon to boot, so I can’t really get behind that.

But what about just making conversion rates make sense? Like ok, you put 33% conversion on a helmet, is there 1 item that does 67? Or two items that do 33 each? Because if there is one easy item that does 100% conversion, your conversion does not makes sense. Or there is just one item that does more than 33 but less than 67? (like with Decree and this set)? Again, does not make much sense either. Does crate really wants us to be limited at 90% conversion or something?

Your memory is a little hazy :stuck_out_tongue:

>Spellscourge wasn’t as powerful before 1.0.3.0 and 1.0.4.0. That was when the crucial -x second to Devastation recharge got added. Before that Krieg Pieces + Annie Helm + Beronath were better
>Diviner was absolutely shit had to be redone entirely
>Darkblaze Set was also bad and had to be redone entirely

And for the last time, I am not questioning the power of the set itself but rather its contribution to build diversity, the set itself is awesome.

But waiting a little makes sense

If you’re talking about letting conversion hit 100% and/or making it more easily accessible, those are both things I strongly approve of. Conversion and the neat stuff it enables are probably my favorite part of Grim Dawn’s character building.

Exactly what I am talking about. I am not against set being a build enabler with its pierce to acid conversion as well as its elemental to vitality. I just think elemental to vitality make sense, because not being able to get 100% conversion because items were designed that way is really frustrating.

I’m pretty sure those MI pistols with their 45% conversion are a cruel joke by someone at crate.

If so, well done, you annoyed me
