Range of an effect should visible in the visual animation

I’ve noticed that some magical abilites and the graphical indicators are not consistent in the range.

e.g. visually there seems to be no difference between lightning nova and strong lightning nova.

What I would like to be considered by the devs, is that the visual effect meets the effective range of this effect, so I can see if an enemy is already within the range of my nova or not. Same for other areal effects like Blackwater Cocktail etc.

So if one has a higher skill resulting in a larger range of effect in meters (radius in the stats) this should be visible.
