I think the main thing for something to be a circuit breaker is for it to activate below an health threshold. Those two devotion procs activate on just being hit. Then i guess Ghoulish Hunger is technically a circuit breaker but it doesn’t heal you or grants invincibility for a few seconds, so i guess it’s not one by the common definition.
For as long I’ve been playing RPGs and at least in this forum, circuit breakers have always been referred to skills that go off on their own when your health is below a threshold and they either heal a large amount of your health or give you invincibility for a few seconds.
No, at least not in my mind. They’re mitigation or healing procs, but not circuit breakers. Circuit breakers are as Norzan described: 100% auto-procs below a certain %health, not a chance when struck. It’s the activation mechanic that makes something a circuit breaker, not merely the fact that it heals.
That’s generally what CBs are imo
Anyways, back to the topic I can understand locking out BMs from using this but if they’re allowing 2h melee builds then might as well allow 2h ranged builds to use this.
