shaman works well with devouring swarm

there’s also a green dagger that adds skills to ravenous and devouring + lots of vitality

Is it possible to reduce RE’s cool down to like 1s? I really like the skill but the 3s cool-down is kind of annoying unless I spam something else.

You can get the cooldown to 1.5s or so. 1-2 Bonespikes and Basilisk Crest help with this. Pandemic is a Legendary that’s also an option.

Still though, even with the 3s cooldown, you have the option of pairing it with 1-2 other damaging skills to rotate around (e.g. Sigil of Consumption/Doom Bolt from Occultist, Storm Totem from Shaman). Add in other debuff abilities like Siphon Souls, Curse of Frailty, Bloody Pox, Devouring Swarm, Wendigo Totem that you need to maintain or situational abilities like Mark of Torment and you should have plenty to do.

This is my take on a RE build, I am only in Act 1 Ultimate, but I do not expect any problems in later acts. It´s not a lazy 2 button build, but it´s quite fun and has decent kill speed.

And yes, I am aware, that my gear is pretty good, yet until you hit level 94, options are not very awesome. Still, I had no problems leveling that character.

Technically I don´t really need Bloody Pox in the build, but I got so much +skills to it, it would be a shame not to use it. :wink:

Here’s a generic RE Cabalist http://www.grimdawn.com/forums/showthread.php?t=79786. Result in the video there is poor. It can do sub 8 no banner easy with good piloting.

Didn’t follow the thread closely but this what I saw

  • RE and DEE is a losing proposition, conversion or not
  • RE is all or nothing, either max it and get all gear support there is or give up (unless for Decay ofc)
  • If done properly RE is one of the strongest casts in the game

I was going to see if there was something else here but when I started playing again then I went looking for something to try. I finally completed normal with this and am almost done with Elite. It has some more links in it but
