v93 Changelog

HALLOWEEN:
*Halloween is over! Removed all Jackolanterns, notes, and Lumina NPC from Cairn.

WINTER:
*Added a Winter Event! I updated my script so now you can disable the event if you choose to. There will be an item that activates the event, so long as it’s in your inventory you can participate. Check the Personal Hideout and look for the familiar chef for this item and the new vendor.

GRIMARILLION:
*Updated SR scripts, should now use the GD 1.2.1.3 condensed SR.
*Updated SR timer calculations to match 1.2.1.3 changes.
*Updated all devotions to match 1.2.1.3 changes
*Fixed an issue where Gutworm’s loottables were broken, preventing him from dropping his MI.
*Fixed an issue where Queen Ravna’s loottables were broken, preventing her from dropping her MI.
*Reduced the proxy spawn area for the Hallowed Hill and Port Valbury devotion shrines. Not sure if this will prevent enemies from spawning in unreachable places but this is the best I can do
*Removed Staff support from Oklaine’s Lantern.
*Updated the tooltip for Hydra and Kraken devotions to show they work with staff weapons.
*Updated the tooltip for several vanilla GD skills that were utilizing staves to make it more clear that they can.
*Fixed an issue where Mark of Dreeg was missing it’s granted skill. (Crate renamed the granted skill for some reason!)
*Fixed an issue where Devil-Touched Ammo was missing it’s granted skill. (Crate renamed the granted skill for some reason!)

DIABLO 3:
*Potential fix for an issue that caused D3 shrines to sometimes still spawn duplicate bosses.
*Reduced D3 Shrine spawn chance drastically.
*Updated some minor stuff for the bounty table scripts. (don’t think this has any major impact on anything, this was primarily level variance on difficulties)
*Added a condition to several bounties, fixing an issue where the game didn’t recognize the proper enemies due to some changes I made to accommodate the new d3 enemy spawns.
*Increased Death Seraph’s Sigil cooldown to 7 seconds and reduced the heal amount.

DARKEST DAWN:
*Storm Secret: Added a % DA penalty to the set bonus.
*Font of Thunder: Removed maximum elemental resistance, added physical resistance.

ETERNAL:
*Updated some chests in Eternal mode that potentially would not spawn properly.
*Rematch Nemesis spawned through the shrine will now have the same chest as vanilla Nemesis.
*Updated the timer announcement texts in Eternal to fix an issue that occurred at high waves.
*Fixed an issue with Eternal’s Upper Pantheon not being available as intended.
*Fixed a typo for the Eternal Corridor.
*Eternal Shards have been changed into a quest item as intended.
*Fixed an issue where Gutworm’s loottables were broken, preventing him from dropping his MI.
*Fixed an issue where Queen Ravna’s loottables were broken, preventing her from dropping her MI.
*Fixed an issue where Theodin Marcell could not drop items or grant XP in Eternal.
*Fixed an issue where the area preceding the Eternal Corridor had the wrong zone name.

RESKILL:
*Fixed an issue where Skill Rune of Beastcaller’s Cowl was missing it’s granted skill. (Crate renamed the granted skill for some reason!)
*Fixed an issue where Skill Rune of Bysmiel’s Iris was missing it’s granted skill. (Crate renamed the granted skill for some reason!)
*Fixed an issue where Skill Rune of Sovereign Ruby of Domination was missing it’s granted skill. (Crate renamed the granted skill for some reason!)
*Fixed an issue where Skill Rune of Will of Bysmiel was missing it’s granted skill. (Crate renamed the granted skill for some reason!)

SHATTERED AFFIXES:
*Condensed the shard levels required for Shattered Orb chances by about 2.5, so now you can start finding them at around shard 26, with the rewards growing as you go up. This is currently untested, but it should be working, let me know if it isn’t.

GRIMMEST:
*Updated Zeke’s Grimmest conversations so you won’t need to constantly talk to him to increase your Grimmest settings, there’s now several options to choose from instead.
*Updated the “names” for each of the Grimmest difficulty settings to Ungrim (Off), Grim, Grimmer, Extra Grim, Ultra Grim, Grimmest, and Level 11: Beyond Grimmest

HAIRSTYLES:
*Updated the “Tied Back” Hairstyle. It will no longer have a different appearance based on the user’s gender, and now anyone can choose the female Tied Back look, OR the male Swept Back look.
*Updated the “Default” Hairstyle. It will no longer have a different appearance based on the user’s gender, and now anyone can choose the female pixie cut.
*Renamed “Default” hairstyle to “Pixie”
*Updated all hairstyles to include every color option. (Brown, Black, Blonde, Blue, Auburn, Green, Pink, Purple, Grey)
*Updated all hair UI bitmaps, the icons now have better lighting and will be the same for both genders. In addition, they do not show the facial profile, just the hair model.
*Added a new “Plant” hairstyle. There are no recolors for this one.

GRIM QUEST:
Items:
*Symbol of Polymath: Reduced all stats on the aura by about half.
*Dvalinn’s Simulacrum - Dream: flat DA replaced with 6%
*Dvalinn’s Simulacrum - Runes: flat DA replaced with 4%
*Dvalinn’s Simulacrum - Defense: flat OA replaced with 4%
*Dvalinn’s Simulacrum - Hunting: flat OA replaced with 4%
*Dvalinn’s Simulacrum - Storm: flat OA replaced with 6%
*Dvalinn’s Simulacrum - Rogue: OA increased to 6%
*The Greg: Renamed to Tiamat’s Fury, shield model, textures and bitmap updated to reflect this change. (No more Oreo cookie)
*Andvaranaut: Increased XP gained by 1%, removed health and energy drain. Added a new self debuff that reduces player’s health, physical resistance, total damage and total retal.
*Sun Disc: Added burn damage to Rain of Fire
*Codex of Horus: Added fire damage to Rain of Fire
*Caduceus: added +1 Summon to Summon Epialos (summons per cast, not additional)
*Amulet of Ikelos: added +1 Summon to Astral Rift (summons per cast, not additional)
*Robes of Pythia Set: added +1 Summon to Astral Rift (summons per cast, not additional)
*Herakles’ Club: added +2 Summon to Ancestral Horn (summons per cast, not additional)
*Patroclus’ Disguise Set: Added +1 Summon to Ancestral Horn (summons per cast, not additional)
*Fixed an issue where some Grim Quest Shoulder armors had built-in chest meshes that could sometimes cause clip with armor
*Fixed an issue where Sybaris was missing a projectile.
*Added new Shield SlamWPS animation.
*Updated Silvercore Bolts and Blessed Whetstone to match the 1.2.1.3 changes. (If you see others that aren’t updated let me know)
*Adjusted the values for stats on some of the crafted accessory affixes that were misaligned.

Earth:
*Coredweller - Inner Fire: Reduced damage slightly.
*Rain of Fire: reduced cooldown by 4 seconds and increased physical damage.
*Flame Surge: increased radius by 0.3 meters.
*Flame Surge - Scorch: Removed radius increase

Spirit:
*Liche King - Death Nova: reduced damage slightly.
*Bone Fiend - Death Nova: increased projectile distance by 2 meters
*Drain Life: increased damage dealt
*Drain Life - Soul Cascade: increased chance to hit additional targets and increased maximum targets, reduced vitality decay damage and duration.

Dream:
*Nightmare - Dream Surge: Increased projectile distance by 2 meters.
*Psionic Beam - Psionic Drain: increased vitality decay damage
*Astral Rift: Increased cooldown to 20 seconds, but now summons all Astral Rifts at once. Removed energy cost.

Hunting:
*Study Prey - Flush Out: greatly increased DA reduction.
*Snare Trap - greatly increased damage
*Snare Trap - Shackled - increased electrocute damage

Storm:
*Thunderball: increased electrocute scaling
*Breath of Boreas: Increased rotation speed and skill range.
*Squall - increased electrocute damage scaling, increased flat physical damage scaling, increased duration to 10 seconds, cooldown set to 5 seconds.

Nature:
*Plague: increased damage
*Plague - Fatigue: increased damage
*Plague - Susceptibility: increased damage
*Fungal Swarm: Increased rotation speed and skill range.
*Fungal Swarm - Corrosion: Increased vitality damage

Neidan:
*Consequences - Mutual Suffering: increased damage

Defense:
*Shield Charge - Colossal Stride: reduced internal trauma damage, increased internal trauma duration.

Rogue:
*Summon Epialos: Increased cooldown to 20 seconds, but now summons all Epialos at once. Removed energy cost.
*Envenom: Fixed an issue where this buff was applying visually twice. Also added a slight green tint effect to the equipped weapons while active.

Warfare:
*Ancestral Horn: Increased cooldown to 20 seconds, but now summons all Ancestors at once. Removed energy cost.

EDIT: I fixed it, I must’ve copied the wrong files some way, I’m logged into my character now.

I updated to v93, opened the game and entered with my lvl 58 character, then comes the introduction cutscene, I skip it and I play as a lvl 1 character. I just alt-F4’d and it doesn’t look like it saved it as lvl 1, but how do I use my character again?

Thanks for including the toggle on the event mobs… I won’t be turning them off, but that’s me.

Any chance of a toggled version of the Halloween one being around as well or is there a limits issue at play?

For now, no. I’ll consider it but at the moment I want to keep it as a seasonal incentive.

i made a thing to show mastery (and class combo) names on the main menu without having to first enter a session.

how it works is it basically replaces the tags_achievements.txt in the base game using the settings folder method. the new tags_achievements.txt is modified to include all the mastery name tags and the class combo tags.

To install: just extract the files into steamapps\common\Grim Dawn

This file will not dynamically show appropriate class combo names from different mods and as such incorrect class combo names will be displayed on characters that are meant to be played with a different mod other than grimarillion (ex. DoM character will show wrong class combo name)

feel free to use and modify it as much as you want
this file will need an update when foa drops and/or grimarillion updates with a new mastery
