Those files seem to have done the job. Thank you.

It looks like the mod was needing the lootitemtable_expanded_dynaffixtable.tpl and lootitemtable_expanded_dynweighted_dynaffix.tpl files. Without them available equipping two-handed melee weapons resulted in a game logic issue evidenced by how the character refused to move, would finish a travel path but stay locked in running animations if weapons were swapped mid-movement, and the character sheet’s “DPS” values showed unarmed numbers instead of accurate values if the weapon were equipped.

Currently my characters are moving correctly and the “DPS” values seem to be updating appropriately.

There was also a templates.arc inside the templates folder itself containing the expanded skill tree file (it was present “loose” in the templates folder itself) and caravanwindow.tpl, but I suspect (humorous suspicion, not “real” suspicion) that it’s just a red herring at this point.

Does anyone have any advice on killing these outright OP pieces of %$&^$%

They are literally regening all of their health instantly. When they have heavy backup they simply don’t ever die. Unless you can freeze them permanently they don’t die. I usually just get lucky with a freeze attack and endless minions and my weapon killing them when they are flat out by themselves.

I thought it was because of VET difficulty, but nope, just normal difficulty they are the same.

You’ll need to provide more info, like what mobs are you referring to, post your build.

Maybe you’re not targeting the mobs that are healing them?

Death Seraphs

I was referring to Death Seraphs in the game. Not sure why my title is gone.

Even when they are by themselves they auto heal all of their health instantly. When they are in groups of enemies, they are unstpopable no matter what the difficulty.

Right now I have my level 35 D3 Necromanacer and Shaman. 2 Handed build with Scythe power. Pets are at least half of the max or maxed out. So basically 6 skeletons, 3 skeleton archers, 1 frost golem, and 1 briar summons. Plus 2 handed damage of nearly 2K+ a hit, not to mention freezing capabilities, devotions, armor buffs, and etc

Yeah if you are aware of how they are supposed to easily die without regenning their health instantly would love to know. They are ridiculously OP and literally ruin the entire game if you get stuck with them in an area where the only way out is to succeed or die.

Sadly, I have not played this mod.
I’m surprised others haven’t submitted similar issues if it’s such a challenge.

It’s a recent addition to the mod with the last patch iirc. And personally I haven’t had any problems with them.

Really? They just auto regen on me all day long. Youi don’t have the same issue?

speaking from a vanilla game standpoint, can’t speak for grimarillion features/balancing or scaling.
But generally healer enemies is some form of (surmountable) dps check, which could mean there is a less than expected amount of dmg output for the level/area/fight
Vanilla examples you have stuff like Milton, Protoss/Aldric, Valbury council and such, if anyone is struggling on those it either indicates a fundamental gap, or not ready yet optimization wise (ex Valbury council can require a half decent char and not “always” just a question of “add more dmg” unlike ex milton), - and stuff like Aldric is then directly more mechanical (avoid totem healing)
Could be Death Seraphs function similar to some of those vanilla interactions

not sure. I just re specced my character and doubled the damage output plus a ton of other bonuses by changing the second class. So we will see what happens next time I see one.

Either way, it was crazy OP. 25% health left and instant regen of all health. Like wtf. Something got broken Idk

50-80% heals is relatively common among healers, atleast in vanilla (usually has a large cooldown to match the dps race)

Depends on Enemy, some do heal. But usually can kill before they regen again other than witchdoctors etc as they constant heal enemies to full.

what’s the different between Grimarillion and Dawn of Masteries?
Which one you guys suggest to play consider of the balance ?
which contains the latest version of Masteries ? like Neidan from TQ

DoM has some different masteries to Grimarillion, but isn’t as well balanced. Far as I know both of them have all the TQ masteries.
