Have you tried setting all the pets to aggressive? They usually do their own thing on that setting.

I have a Cabalist summoner as well as a Witchblade with the Blood Knight set in the default game as well as a second Cabalist using the Necrotic Might mod. I ALWAYS set pets to aggressive. Tried both the Lich King from Spirit as well as the Sylvan Archer from Nature. Both of them tended to wander around and they would at times just stay near the Core Dweller and soak up AoE damage. Also, the Heart of Oak HP buff from Nature doesn’t affect Core Dweller or Sylvan Archer but the Wolves you can get from Nature are affected. I have Titan Quest Anniversary Edition (without the Ragnork expansion). My main was Earth/Spirit and the Lich King summon would actually hang out close to my char while doing ranged attacks.

Sounds like a bug then. Both Liche and Nymph usually hang back and fire off ranged attacks when set to aggressive.

I always get the strangest bugs (and I just did a validate files a few days ago too). One time the NPC in Crucible to start the waves couldn’t be talked too and the doors to the reward area were missing but trying to enter teleported you back to the spawning area.

It affects them both as you can see here… there’s no way to set a buff to be limited to some pets and not others unless it is only applied to the player (like menhir’s will from soldier). Are you experiencing this bug in multiplayer? Try playing Ungrim and see if it still happens.

As for the pet AI… it does get funky sometimes. How many points do you have into the pets (liche+nymph) when they are wandering into Coredweller’s range? Points into their skill modifiers? Are you using the pet attack button? There’s a number of reasons they can act stupid. I’ll see if I can fix it if I can find the cause but I’ve had issues with these pets since day 1 of Grim Quest…

When I used Heart of Oak when bringing up the tooltip my mousing over the icon on the skillbar, the wolves HP increased but Core Dweller and Sylvan Archer stayed exactly the same.

Can you recommend one of the other 28 masteries to go with Earth? I ALWAYS max out the base pet skill when I can. With the Titan Quest masteries you aren’t starved for skill points. Guess I have to max out every single passive cause Lich and archer wre both doing less damage then the Core Dweller. I’m also lvl49 and just starting Act 2 on Veteran. Occultist almost seems like the best since Hellhound also does fire damage and I have access to Curse of Frailty and Blood of Dreeg mainly.:p:p:p:p:p:p

Check this thread for ideas. I don’t really play GD much anymore, and when I do I’m usually playtesting something for Grimar or FG, so I can’t give good advice.

Occultist + Earth seems like a good combo. RR from CoF (stacks with Ring of Fire), pet stats from Bonds of Bysmiel, Hellhound, Hellfire for extra fire damage to further empower you and the CoreSWELLER, heck even the Raven’s Storm Spirit for MORE elemental damage. You’ve got a lot of options with Occultist.

Reading through the first link. As too the second link, I couldn’t come up with a build to save my life. Earth/Occultist should work decently well but I have zero idea what gear I should eventually shoot for.

Babylonian Spear set, I’ll redo the whole set when I get more pieces into it. For now it’s not a huge concern for me.

Zenith bug is known, not much Ceno can do to fix it iirc without removing the whole system altogether. Just don’t abuse the game and you’ll be fine. :wink:

Forgotten souls atm have a low drop rate (bugged so it’s lower than it should be), but they should be obtainable from dismantles but I don’t remember honestly.

The Diablo 3 mod Grimarillion uses has updated recently. How long until Grimarillion incorporates the changes?

Well i’ve just started today with this mod, found angrim and checked his crafting options and he offered me this for crafting:

Seems like some lines are broken, theres bunch of other stuff with requirements up to 5000 physique which requires the vanilla item as igredient too, eg crusaders sharzuls worldeater etc

Is there any possible way for the relic Summoner’s Totem to have a permanent pet? All that would need to be done is reduce the damage of its attacks to compensate for being permanent. As it is it summons a cavern wyvern for 30 seconds with a 30 second cooldown. As of now my Occultist/Earth is only able to field the Core Dweller, 2 Hellhounds and the skeleton from Black Grimoire of Og’NaPesh.

It’s a universal knowledge when playing a mod you have to read it’s description or changes, which in our case is this WHOLE thread. As well as other threads of other mod, blended in Grimarillion. Don’t get me wrong, but we’re all have to think twice before posting a bug to save the precious time of our mod makers and other forum members.
If you are new here, you should read the topic before submitting bugs. And that is also a universal rule whatever the subject or theme may be.
I am aware there are dozens of pages to read through, but that is a price, so to say, for the FREE modding.
Hope you get me in the right way.

With the way the relic is set up, the Summoner’s Totem is as close to being a permanent pet as you can get. It’s very easy to summon and the cooldown is only annoying if the pet dies early. What else would you think you gain from changing the pet from what it is already?

Hey, my friend is constantly crashing when he tries to join my game. He can start it fine, but once he tries to join me, he crashes. Are there options I’ve missed or is this on his end? We installed it the same way. Works fine solo.

Another question though, any suggestions on a spirit class-based pet build? Loving the minions right now, picked riftwalker to go with it, not sure I like it. I’m sure there is a class removal mod that I can use but just wondering what would work best to compliment spirit.
