Since the game is not entirely stable for some of us, and since the game saves it’s state very frequently, why not set a crash flag and resume the last state when the game crashes? It’s very frustrating to make it nine tenths of the way through a dungeon or a large area with no rift, only to crash in the middle of a final boss fight or some such equally unfortunate point. The game already has a crash flag, so this would be an extremely easy fix to implement. Set a flag, unset it when the game is exited normally. If on load the flag is still set, resume last state with zone mobs cleared, personal rift still active where last placed, etc. Simple, and would go a long way to easing the frustration of a crash.
