I say this in all pleasantness and kindness, no rudeness or offense intended.
When someone goes to create a forum account, or make their first post in the forum, there should be a popup that they are required to read first (not just a post that says “Read First” that they ignore) that reminds them to read the forums (particularly bugs) BEFORE making a new topic, or posting the same problem in one of the more generic topics.
I am not saying we never miss things, and I am sure I am guilty of missing some too, so not claiming I got it all right myself. Just saying, there are a lot of duplicate topics
