… you simply faceroll everything in a blink even with players with non-duped stuff or who are playing without a trainer so i thought about new discipline:
Playing content only with rare or/and magic self found / self crafted rare items.
Anyone interested to play under these conditions? And how can we organize such runs?
Don’t think that’d add to the difficulty at all. You kinda stop looking at yellows long before normal is over. And for the part of normal/veteran it would affect gear doesn’t really matter.
Many players you think aren’t using trainers or modded items are. Obviously not all of them, but for someone to have every set piece and near-perfect MIs for their build would take well over 1k hours. Yet, I see them quite often…
I’m not shitting on those players, it’s mostly a solo game. However, I’m saying it to lead into my main point: There’s a “No Cheat” clan that plays GD, and their thread has hundreds of replies, so I assume it’s relatively populous. I’m pretty sure I saw it on the Steam forums, so check there with a keyword search. They might have posted here too. While I’m sure a handful of them have decked-out characters, I’d imagine most are running sub-optimal gear due to their clan style of play.
The game’s balance is not made with multiplayer in mind, at least not most of it. Hence why at least two players can destroy the entire game in Ultimate with little to no effort.
Well with 12k+ hrs played guess take my words with a grain of salt. I’ve pieces together many full sets solo and for those hard to find items, trading and it being carried in gladiator crucible has filled any need I’ve ever wanted. So really if a player joined a good gladiator crucible game where everyone was dropping all purples you could easily be geared in one night.
