Trying to make Mythical Brutallax work I came to a question.
How does Storm Touched % additional lightning damage work in this case?
Did someont tested?
If I get it correct - it gives only attack speed (wasting 20% + 280% lightning damage).
Ah, and also it still should give Electrocute damage, but it’s neglible on a pierce build.
Electrocute damage should be transmuted to bleeding damage if I’m not mistaken.
Also the chance to +% lightning should increase the lightning damage of savagery then the ammount would be converted to piercing.
AFAIK Pierce and Bleed are separate damage types and not converted in a same manner as Physical and Internal Trauma and other things.
The thing that bother me is that tooltip on Savagery shows Pierce damage after I equip Brutallax, while Storm Touched still giving bonuses to Lightning Damage. That’s why I asked if anyone tested this behavior.
If conversion comes from a skill transmuter or an item mod then +%original damage on that skill’s nodes counts as +%converted damage. In this instance, no, +%lightning on Savagery nodes isn’t wasted.
EDIT: Pierce has no DoT. When lightning is converted to pierce, nothing happens to electrocute.
