Scales with player bonuses Query

Could someone please clarify the full extent of what “Scales with player bonuses” means please?

Which of these does it include:

  • Flat damage
  • % Damage bonuses
  • % Attack damage converted to health
  • % Physical damage converted to X
  • Attack speed
  • Cast speed
  • Movement speed
  • Total speed
  • Retaliation damage
  • % Bonus retaliation
  • Damage reflection
  • % Life reduction on attack
  • Resistances
  • % Increase to HP and Energy
  • HP and Energy regeneration flat and %
  • Resistance reduction (Viper constellation)
  • on attack procs
  • % Increase to OA and DA
  • Increased critical damage

I think I’ve got them all but I may have missed some! I want to make a build utilising Raise The Dead and wanted to know how much of the above affects “scales with player damage bonuses”.

Thanks for your responses!

AFAIK, it should be % damage bonuses, specifically, and whatever is given by your self-auras. So flat damage on gear, AFAIK, does not, but flat damage from say, Reckless Power, should apply, even though the “aura” is really only a self buff.

Resistance Reduction is applied as a debuff to the enemy, so as long as it is caused, everything striking the enemy benefits, including other players in multiplayer…Again, AFAIK.

Generally, there aren’t many things that “scale with player bonuses” so the area in general is a little unclear IMO.

+% vs. monster type might also affect it. I’m not sure. Wouldn’t be hard to test though.

I just think it is something that should be clarified, and it could be put in detail in the game guide.

I checked the advanced game mechanics sticky thread and there wasn’t anything there related to this in detail.

Either would be good really, but I think an explanation as to what it includes in the game guide would be optimal!

Does bonus attack speed work?

I second this. Waiting for someone knowledgeable enough or even devs to confirm this since there aren’t enough information regarding the topic.

Does NOT work:
-Flat damage, ADCtH, and anything else that would normally be applied by %weapon damage.
-On attack skills (bound devotion skills still work)
-Attack and cast speed, or speed bonus/malus of any sort.

Everything else, including on kill effects works as though it was a non-weapon damage spell cast by you.
