Hey all, I’ve been theorycrafting a retaliation char for the new patch and since I have never even played with a shield before I have a few questions for anyone more familiar:
-
How does Righteous Fervor interact with %added ret damage when it comes to the charges? I know they only buff weapon damage so I don’t know if it’s worth scaling if it doesn’t do the same for %ret.
-
Most of the chars I could easily get to 60%+ block chance but with relatively low block recovery (~20%), except for Soldier where Overguard pushed it to over 75%. How important is it to gameplay? Do you just get mini block stunned 2/3rds of the time or is it manageable?
-
What do you with stat distribution on these type of builds? No stat seems to buff ret damage (unless they’re changing it for the patch?) so they seem like something to balance OA/DA. What numbers should I be aiming at considering I don’t mind getting hit to trigger “on block” procs?
-
Considering the limited ways of scaling ret damage as a whole - how important is extra %crit damage? Compared to let’s say RR? I couldn’t find a definitive damage formula for it.
Thanks in advance
