I don’t want to spark any discussion on blizzard and their released necromancer pack, but since Crate themselves said it’s unlikely for another expansion to come out after Forgotten Gods, I want to make the suggestion of eventually introducing smaller-sized DLCs like a new mastery after the release of Forgotten Gods, because I would 100% pay for a new mastery, simply because Grim Dawn is my favourite ARPG and the money could support the developer’s future projects… (Please make GD 2 :rolleyes:)

While I have always thought that Crate needs a paypal link for donations, I am not really sure how many more Crate masteries are needed. You should check out the mods though if you are looking for moar. There are more mastery combos in GD, if you include mods, than any sane player can exhaust before becoming exhausted.
Plus, Crate has an image to maintain. Asking them to be money whores is not something they will be willing to do, afaik. They are really different from the others. If they continue down this path, I seriously fear there is hope for the human race.
After selling AoM for 19 bucks with TWO MASTERIES, two new acts, a bunch of new enemies and items, the last thing they’ll do is sell a single mastery for 15 bucks or else be mocked by a bunch of people for trying to do so.
Or you are just exaggerating about the price. And even with that, i doubt they will sell masteries individually.
As Zantai has said before the best way to support Crate is to buy more copies of the game (give them to friends, family, strangers on the street ;)).
Also, while I’m always up for more content, the devs have been working on GD for many, many years now and might want to try their hand at something different. We already know there’s a town/city builder game which Medierra will hopefully tell us more about soon, but I doubt that’s the only project they’re working on. Pretty sure they’ll have ideas they want to try out for other games, even if they’re not that far along yet. Future games from Crate excite me more than the thought of getting any new GD masteries.
I will buy Forgotten Gods because of the new areas and quests and the “shattering” new game mode. I think the game has enough masteries. I haven’t even played Inquisitor yet or any mastery made by modders, even though I have almost 900 hours of play time and something between 200 and 300h are after AOM was released.

I totally agree with this, on the other hand the devs have evaded questions about Forgotten Gods bringing (a) new master(y)(ies)
if that would be the case I would welcome it, but it isn’t necessary

Only possible if they can continue to do it through Humble. Paypal’s policy: once an account is closed it can never be reopened. Medierra posted this back in 2011, but it was originally in an even older thread.
