Settlers are stuck and starving

Settlers want to pick up a dead man but can’t go back. They starve and other settlers come to pick up their bodies and they are starving too… and so forth
I cut down the trees but it doesn’t change anything.

What can I do? Reload or Restarting the game didn’t change anything

(Sorry my english is not the best, i´m german:)
Siedler wollen einen Toten abholen, aber können nicht zurück gehen. Sie verhungern. Andere Siedler kommen um ihre Leichen abzuholen und verhungern auch… usw
Ich habe die Bäume abgeholzt aber es ändert nichts)

Best thing you can do is use the flatten terrain tool to make a path they can access.

it worked. 1 hour of hard work, 4 settlers were rescued, the others laid to rest
