Hey there, I’ve been farming Bloodbriar’s Thorn for a friend, taking both the Pine Barrens and the Twin Falls path. One thing I’ve noticed is that the ‘obstructions’ between Tyrant’s Hold and the Shaded Basin are mostly permanent and I’ve been wondering if that’s a bug, for one they appear on the map as the regular ‘obstructions’, on the other, if you’re far enough they’re not there so I assume there SHOULD be a chance for them to be clear. However, I’ve only observed the one I’ve marked in yellow to be freed up from time to time, the ones in red are ALWAYS there. I’ve done close to 15 runs now and I’ve never seen them not there:

as far as i’m aware it’s just RNG, you have a 1/4 passable roads, which one it is then “random”,
i’ve had one of the lower one open in the past for sure, but it does seem like the top 2 has way higher chance of appearing open/top ones are open more frequent, which might suggest even if it’s 1/4 roads, it’s not an even 25% chance for each

Thanks for the info, I’ve never even seen the bottom two open up so I was wondering if it were a bug / intentional or something other.
it’s so common it’s one of the top so it’s always where i go first, which is perhaps also what makes it stand out that little bit when on the 100th time they’re blocked and it’s the lower one you go to
I’ve also farmed in the area and it’s definitely skewed towards the top being open.

Agreed. The chances are not equal here, but I’ve definitely seen every one of them open at least once.

I’ve had the middle one open the last couple of times I’ve been through there.

@kll Haha, it is a character I quickly levelled up for the purposes of MI farming (infiltrator maxing out mov speed).
