Hi! Could you please make that when lighting is on low, shadows wont just disappear? Its quite annoying imo. I play on everything maxed out( except AA and SSAO) and on low lighting because it eats FPS A LOT.
I think that there is a reason why you,Crate, have done it like it is now, but at least i want to hear a answer 
Oh, and im sure that its a reason why everyone(who set lighting to low) have black grass when its night in the game.
And please make it optional for your own char’s light radius to create new shadows other then the natural world ones.
Thats exactly what i wanted to say too! It could help to have more options to tweak performance of game
