was fighting voldrak when the usual “too brave” 1shot happened, wanted to see how bad it was/what i might lack to shore up, but noticed my prior inc dmg tally hadn’t changed

did a couple more sacrifices to confirm (now changing sheet dmg from survived lower hits), but tried to capture one on the 3rd death
something definitely seems off with insta kill dmg or enemy overkill dmg vs sheet capture
*it also wouldn’t make sense if it was a coincidental overlap of poison tick+hit on the 100% hp->0 frame, not just because of the previous instances, but even if we subtract 1350 regen counteracting the poison from 14200 hp it’s still well over a 12k hit that didn’t get reflected in sheet at end
In similar circumstances, I’ve often thought that value was basically nonsense. It’s hard to be sure without knowing exactly what incoming damage the game had registered in the final half-second or so.
ye but ex Voldrak’s wave attack is pretty simple, hp reduct combined with ton of physical dmg, no dot, no WD, so even if it was counting just phys dmg it should have been like a 1917x10,27x0,82x0,94 -2000k armour at the most (not even that)
so even if it’s not capable of merging something like %hp dmg into same effect, at some point it should atleast have registered a 13k hit just from that alone, or more if it can factor in merged hp reduct as a dmg value.
His non wave slam (in video) would hit for even more since it carries actual 50%WD with trauma on top, and a smidge hp reduct.
Unsure how to guesstimate the potential of his regular sideswipe aa, since not sure how its buff charges exactly work, or how many charges he might even have had at the time
(pretty sure in first death it would have been 0 charges as it was just the first swipe that got me, but still just same old lvl 91’s 6k display)
