The new villager animations are so fun to watch! One thing I think would be cool is if the villagers sat on the benches. The animation for sitting can be seen with the wainwright already.

I want this too and was surprised it wasn’t included in the first place. I’d also love a “taking a stroll” animation where villagers walk pensively along roads and in gardens and plazas for a bit (perhaps they can look up and about everywhere with their hands held behind them, as if they’re thinking or enjoying observing nature). And a “mourning” action in which villagers visit graveyards to remember the dead. And for children to actually attend school and be seen sitting on the chairs outside with the teacher giving a lesson.
I think almost every social and civic building with an outdoor area should have some animations associated with it, in the same way we see workers in most industrial buildings.
I wonder if this is something modders will be able to expand on, too.
LOL I can see the devs reading this post now: “We gave them cute idle animations. But they don’t think it’s enough. It’ll never be enough. Look at all these ideas. They just keep wanting MOAR…”
