Skillpoints/level

Why does GD give 3 pts/level up to 50, and THEN switch to only 2 pts/level? What made Crate make that decision? Just curious.

Edit: Also, why the breakpoint at 50 when level cap is 85?

Bearing in mind that level cap of 200 is possible, then obviously if you had 3 points all the time you could max out everything in both masteries with points to spare. It’s also about making you think about skills you really want and how to achieve the best build within the limitations. I find it frustrating a bit myself as playing Titan Quest I’m used to being able to max out more skills than I can in GD. But I’m getting there slowly.

Also note that at L70 you’ll drop down to 1 skill point. Time to find more of those items that give + to skills. :smiley:

Wot? Levels 70-85 will still give you 2 skill points.

Duh, brain failure on my part. I thought it had changed to one point only at L70. :o

Crate will give us 1 point per level when the level cap increases in the expansion CONFIRMED!1!!11!!1

Yeah, that post was before the Hidden Path got added which I think gives you that extra point per difficulty.
