As you can see I keep losing builders, wainwrights and foragers to this little bit of water. They get stuck and starve to death there if I don’t notice them there. It really hurts when you’re losing villagers after a raid to stupidity

Crate says it’s a difficult issue because of the game’s mechanics, but that they are going to address it eventually.
Why are they heading over there in the first place? Don’t build over there. The problem is one villager get s tuck and dies, another goes to collect the body, gets stuck and dies, repeats and repeats. Block it off with a fence/wall so they can’t access that area.

Ahh… but that is a problem. Because raiders can go right around a wall that goes to the edge of water. so can’t villagers My forager literally walks through the water to get from point A to point B.
I’m advanced enough in game that I need the space down there. I can’t get them to leave the water alone there. A wall, they just walk around. My thinking is that a townhall level 2 we can build small wooden bridges and at townhall level 4 upgrade them to cobble stones? but only for short spans like in the picture. Or some other way of deterring the AI from routing the villagers through water? It’d be nice if the damn raiders got stuck there too LOL but they don’t seem to.

Zip up the entire TownName_###### folder along with the .map file and .sav that reproduces the issue. If the files are too big, you can use a service such as Google Drive to share it with us.

Sometimes you just can’t build walls near water because it’s too steep (yes, that happened to me and raiders killed many folks!) and you need to use leveling tool first. But as long as you build your walls to the point when next block says “blocked by water”, raiders won’t go around. Didn’t happen to me since I started paying attention to it. Then you can always test it with one of your villagers.
