Just killed the final boss in Veteran Normal. I’m lvl 47 two hand soldier, with a touch of demolitionist. Should I continue to level up or move on to the harder level - Elite?? I did get a legendary two hander I can use at lvl 50.
playing on a higher difficulty is a reversible decision; if it’s too hard, you can just move back down to veteran and farm your level 50. Unless you’re playing hardcore or you really care about your death stat, you might as well move up to Elite.
Did you get all the shrines in your difficulty level yet? You should have 28 total Devotion Points if you did. If not you’re better off checking a list of the shrine locations and finding the ones you don’t have yet. Also, if you can get your resists all to around at least 50% then you’ll have an easier time in Elite.

I play fairly loose, did not read or watch any content for builds, I just play. If this charactor is messed up too much I’ll do another with more care. I hardly worry about gear until I start to get close to the level cap. Seems like what ever that red cloud stuff is gives me the most issues. (chaos damage perhaps)
You can handle Veteran and Elite good with playstile and “okay” Equipment. Starting Ultimate it will change massive. I Startet Ultimate around lvl 70 with not that bad gear and its still so cruel but fun.
So, just try Elite out. The Game has more than 50 Devo-Shrines but they are harder to Complete on higher Difficulties and less as on Normal/Vet.
So just try it out and have fun.
I suggest to try elite for so that u got to taste the ‘punishment’ once in elite. ;p
Sounds like you’re doing fine if you came this far without reading up. You might need to use some defensive skills on elite but you can keep pushing untill ultimate. Doesn’t really matter what you do before that anyway. just don’t spend too many points on the demo mastery or in attributes untill you are sure about it.
Already did, just far enough to put some fire out. Kinda may regret it. But what’s done is done.
I’d say to just try it, if it’s too hard go back to Veteran and farm some levels.
I played for a week as well, I find elite a1 not that hard compare to vet a4. Where a2 with all the gun ganger, thing get tougher.

I would suggest you do a few runs in steps of torment or some other dungeon before you continue, why? its kinda fun and you will prob get some more legendarys.
If you dont mind going straight for the next content grind go for it, if you want a little break from content to have and some fun then run a few dungeons, farm a bit, a tiny bit make some skeleton keys and pray rng is with you on those runs.
Go for elite if you feel your bleed and poison resists are ok, bare in mind there is also a resist penalty when you go to elite, your resists will drop, so what you could also do is, go on to elite look at your resists if you feel comfy then why not =o.
Well on lvl 85 you have some working room so it will probably work out fine. There are also lots of +skill items so you can go quite a way into both masteries for most builds. Just make sure you plan a little bit.
