So, this happned.

soooo, kudos crate, for making allies not inconsequential 6 deaths vigil necros killed a nemesis, on their own, with me only using blood of dreeg, hungering void, and solaels flame to debuff him.

Deaths Vigil OP pls nerf /sarcasm

As far as I’ve seen, I find that Death’s Vigil blobs tend to be so powerful because their ‘Deathlord’ unit (if I remember the name right) can summon what seems to be an infinite number of revenants if they’re given enough time. It makes clearing out Fort Haron an enormous pain on my Kymon-aligned characters.

Well, there HAS to be reason why humanity hasn’t been wiped out yet. Even the black legion guys can hold their own against yellows and even some brown-name uniques.

Necromancers are also likely rarer (in the off-screen sense, because it takes a lot more effort to become one) which is why individually they’re probably more powerful.

Honestly my intent was to lure benn’jahr to them to use them and the skeletons as meatshields for my melee pyromancer, turns out, give those guys some buffs and they’ll get down to business. I was absolutely surprised that they even managed to damage him in the first place, much less kill him.

also reveals some interesting AI quirks:

there was also kymons chosen units in that fight, but they ignored the fifty foot obsidian colossus in favor of killing their sworn enemies.

Benn’jahr likewise prioritizes chasing you down over getting rid of the 20 odd skeletons and 6 or so necros goin to town on him, which along with blood of dreeg is probably what let them all live through the fight.

There is also the issue that enemy damage is actually quite low relative to enemy health pool - even when it comes to a nemesis beating on something like a death lord. I mean Fabius - who has some of the highest non-player dps in the game still takes somewhere around 30 minutes to kill Moosie iirc.

Doesn’t surprise me that coupled with a %heal like blood of dreeg that the deathlords could tank Benn’jahr forever.

That’s really cool.
