as i understood he was a god? flames of life and joy?
then he was betrayed went ape and turned his flames powers from life to destruction or something like that.
and thats about it…i cant find any lore about him anywhere
i started Demolitionist recently just want to know little more about background of this class (the only thing i found is to stay away from ulzuins chosen lol)

No really, all I know is that he become a vengeful god after he was betrayed. I’m honestly very interested in knowing if he is a good or evil god, if he is primordial or ascendant and if we will ever meet his avatar.[/spoiler][SPOILER]Perhaps we will get a DLC add-on later that we meet Ulzuin and by following a questline, we get to help him overcome his vengeful nature and beome “good” again, or make him go fully nuts forever.

Short answer: Ulzuin is a very sadistic bastard - look what he does to his “chosen” - worst passive skill in the entire game.
