This is by far the most balanced Trail Blazer version I have played to date. Amazing work. My fields work as expected with less rot ect. The Town works more efficient as a whole. The only issue so far is I have 255 soap in storage (built next to my Town centre) but when on my town centre my villagers are miserable due to no soap and uncleanliness? a bug or am I doing something wrong? Great work on this version guys

Are you removing their poop? If there is nightsoil build up it affects cleanliness
Yes, got 3 composters around the edges of the main sleeping quarters 
3 may not be enough. check if it’s piling up in residences

There’s an known bug with the poop notifications. If you have a lot of soap, but your villagers are unhappy about cleanliness, try restarting the game and reloading your city. I’ve done this a few times and all of a sudden half the houses in my city have the poop notification.

I read somewhere that 1 composter per 50 people is about right. I feel even that is a little low but that maybe due to distances.

I have soap and they are unhappy. the TH says it is just because of soap and not compost.
I don’t have a compost problem, no icons and I have check houses, and only have about 1 compost per 100 pop.
Having soap, and somebody in the house having stocked the soap, are two different things. Are you working your people so much that they don’t have time to restock the houses with everything?
I have roughly 90 free labourers, with a population of 570

The soap icon under the happiness tab is simply an indicator for overall cleanliness. Even though the pop-up says it’s about soap, it’s also availability of compost yards to pick up all the poop. Try building more compost yards until the poop icons disappear.

I think you need soap and water in homes for cleanliness, as well as compost being removed. You can quickly check water by mousing over the stocked shelters bar on the R tab. It would be handy if it showed soap distribution in that mouse over too, alas not yet. The best way to check soap is to see if your markets are holding soap, if their stocks are out probably some homes probably are too.
