Some annoying issue relate to storage and other gameplay

Some annoying issue.

  1. “Storage” section of each building work as universal setting :
When you click on a resource building (ex: potter building), you can press +/- to expand/minimize it.

However, this setting work as universal setting for all building. Thus after you minimize it (press -), and you click on storage building, you can’t see anything and you can’t expand it in 'storage" building.

Steps:

  1. click on any normal product building (ex: potter) , to see detail screen

  2. Click “-” to minimize the “storage” section.

  3. Click on any storage building (ex: stockyard, warehouse) ==> Storage section is minimized too .You can’t expand it here because the setting is grey.

  4. Go back to product building, press + again, ==> go to storage building and see detail storage

  5. Storage matter (I think this is a huge issue, connect to many things)
There’re more than 900 sand (press R, town storage), but I can’t see it in any of my stock yard

I can’t produce sand, I buy it from trade and transfer them all to town storage. But having no idea where is the 'storage"

This look like there’s a bug between trading storage and town storage link to this problem. My Trading show the FULL icon, however, I still transfer goods from town <–> trading normally

Space in product building consider “big”/“small” matter of the item . But space in storage building (warehouse) didn’t.
ex:

  • Heavy Tool consider to be big (i guess so :)), then in the blacksmith, only 2 are allowed
  • in Ware house/vault: everything is equal . 1 item = 1 space.

Space in this game is not well defined, it’s mixed between many things, and the usage of space is not consistent !

  • require material for produce s.t take “space”
  • produced material take “space”
  • material using to produce goods also take space (building using heavy tool consume space, while “TOOL” use where and why not consume space?!)
  • Some building have max space to store something, some building don’t have such (ex: hunter lodge don’t have max space to store their food ?)
  1. Mine: state breakdown illogical

Any kind of mine (iron, clay pit, coal,…) have the breakdown like this. So basically, the “working” is almost 0, and "Transferring goods’ like 90% . I try to build a wagon shop, or even build a stockyard near it, it won’t change

I don’t know if the productivity of mine is ok or not, but with full resource 8 staff inside, the mine produce around 180-200

  1. Trade center:
  • Transfer gold from trade to town is super quick , 1 click. But the reverse things (town → trade) need to wait for staff to bring it ! why?
  1. Fish resource:
How the user can know how many “fish” in that river they can gather ?
I build ~10 fishing shack around the river, then see “no fish” around April  .

6.Occasionally, the Message pop up: there’s 0 villagers want to come to your town !
I’ve got this twice during my gameplay, as far as I notice, if I reject once or twice before, I got this message with 0 .

IMPROVEMENT Suggestion:

  1. Decoration building:
  • There should be the affect area after the building is operated.
  • Some upgrade said “improve desirability” → this is % number increase or the area of effect or both?
  1. Building repair :
It’s really painful to click house/building one by one and click repair

What’s the design idea purpose behind this one? If this is intention function, please make hot key or add the area selection and make a bulk prepare

  1. Flatten Terrain
Honestly, I have no idea how to use this tool properly 'well". Building mine on the mountain is painful to wait for 'flatten" . After it’s done, still can’t build the building then flatten again , then repeat.

It’s not clear if “flatten” reduce the heigh or increase the height of an area to match the surrounding interface. Headache

  1. Monthly GOLD report should be clear and more detail
This kind of game need detail report to manage gold, it’s good that you add them in lately, but we need more detail statistic , not just adding a few row in the main UI
What is the motivation for user to upgrade the decoration and get the house updated? if not from tax?
I need tower/soldiers to protect my town, and the rich pay gold tax. How much they pay for each house, how many house type pay how much gold ?

have no idea what is tax “luxury” and how many manors i have so that it generate 132 gold!

Some feedback may be because I don’t understand well the game yet. If so, please ignore

Thanks for checking, and making an event better game. I love this game
