really depends on the build, I much rather see less energy usage on most, for the low energy use builds, I would not mind it being a bit higher (looking at you, Cadence)
Same goes to sleep, petrify, maybe some other resistances?
I much rather have sleep/petrify/slow/freeze/stun… all rolled into one resistance. I am glad we rarely need those two
Maybe it’s too late to do this, but would be cool to have -increased drop rate of items, increased item rarity that drop- factor on equipment introduced in the game.

I have dual wielding character with cadence skill set on main attack slot. I don’t get why when I hover over 2-handed weapons they always show +x to attack by significant factor

With powbam on the topic of MF. I’ve said in the past that any game which has implemented a magic find stat is a game that does not have an entertaining loot system and I stand by that belief today. MF implies an encouragement for grinding with minimal reward rather than an encouragement for grinding with a steady, progressive reward, which in my opinion is what GD has attempted to do and is, in most cases, best for casual and hardcore players alike.
With regards to Energy, as others have brought up it’s not something you need until you do. All of my builds, even autoattacking ones, are Energy intensive and I do feel challenged to meet those demands because the masteries offer varying degrees of Energy regeneration.
Sleep is just a relic from TQ and frankly I’m not sure why players aren’t immune to it like they are Fear or Knockdown. Regardless of whether it’s ever given to enemies, the ramifications of being slept in a game with the pacing of Grim Dawn are so minor that the resistance may as well not exist.
Edit: While my beliefs on MF remain the same, if ever it were to be implemented in GD I would not want to see it on gear for the reasons powbam mentioned and would instead prefer to see it on Devotion nodes or on consumable buffs.
There’s an idea though…enemies that can debuff you to have -50% magic find! Ah, I can see evil med working wonders with that.

In my experience adding a magic find stat just adds another layer of grind. I remember D2 and having to always create a pure magic find character just so I could play anything else. This is not fun, it’s just work. Who needs more work? I sure don’t.

Trolling, in my view, is a fine art form. Some are low quality/intelligence and crude which gives all professional trolls a bad name.
However, noone in this thread was intentionally trolling you for the sake of trolling but if they had been you might want to consider being a little less defensive and thicken the skin a tad as you make it a little bit too easy. As a pro-troll that is the best advice I can give you.
My point was this;
The developers have already made the decision so that last line doesn’t really make sense to me. I didn’t mean to hurt your feelings but there’s no real easy way of telling someone they’re wrong and actions have already been taken in the opposite direction of what they would like to see. It wasn’t personal.
As for the first part of the comment, Energy does play a part in every class and every class has plenty of skills that use tons of energy but there are builds focused entirely on the premise of being energy efficient and single skill only, for example, an auto attack replacer. But, as anyone else, you’re entitled to your opinion of what the game should be. I’ll take you up on that “GTFO” suggestion. I didn’t mean to inject any negativity into your thread. I hope you find a solution you enjoy.

Why the over moderation? It was legit posts. Trolls deserve to be treated like something they are. Even so, I admire your hearth, I can’t be as tolerant as you to trolls. They do and did so much damage to innocent people without feeling a single blink of responsibility for their actions and words
If you feel like somebody is breaking forum rules, you can use the report button and a moderator will take a look at it. I’ve purged several posts in here from both ends of shitposting, didn’t see anything “legit” in them except back and forth namecalling and arguing.
I, however, am not a moderator. I am an annoyed dev who’s sidetracked from working on the game to clean up a forum thread.
Well, I prefer to solve my problem myself, when I can. I pretty much don’t see report button, unless person really lose their nuts. Also, I don’t see arguing as something bad, this is something that happens on forums and in real life too. It’s really better when people settle their shit between each other
