I’m playing a pet based build (Shaman + Ocultist) and I have some questions.
1 - I think I have a lot of pet damage, but I can’t kill some heroes (the Mad Queen and last boss of the Hidden Path) because they recover more damage than my pets can deal. This is my actual build (I’m missing some items yet).
I use 3 permanent pets plus manticore, Bismiel pet (constelation), reckless guardian (offhand) and chtonic’s (weapon).
2 - I’m looking for Og’Napesh drop. Some people said in this forum that it can be found in depraved sancuary. I have made that run 20 or 30 time and didn’t found it. Any help?
3 - I haven’t finished the game in Ultimate. I’m in necropolis. I had a lot of problems againts the last boss. I’ll farm a little before going for it. What is the best place to farm with my pets?
One big thing would be to max curse of frailty and its secondary skill. I would drop emboldening roar to 1 and lower primal bond to 12/12 with skills since it doesn’t scale well after that. Then lower blood of dreeg until you can max both curse of frailty skills. That should help a lot. Other than that you may just need to farm better equipment for a bit before you can take on some of the more difficult content. Oh, and I would drop the hellhound fire breath skill as I understand it is actually a dp loss with the casting animations.
I have maxed curse of fraitly and its power up and worked! I defeated the mad queen (dying 3 times :D). I’ll try the last boss of the Hidden Path, but I don’t think I’ll be able to defeat it (too many pets).
Glad it was helpful! If you can keep from getting trapped the sentinel shouldn’t be too bad. It helps if you have aoe devotion procs on your pets. The link the other poster shared has a good devotion setup. Maxed curse also helps as it slows his summons down.
I’m trying to get the build, but I’m not very lucky getting the items I need for the build. I got a few ones. I tried to get the offhand book, but didn’t get it yet (not in depravated sancturary or SoT).
I tried to kill the hidden path final boss, but I’m not prepared. I need to improve my hands and my build. Both.
I didn’t try the last boss of the game. I’m trying to complete the last mission of Anasteria, but it’s very difficult to advance in Bastion of Chaos. I saw the star in the minimap, but someone put a blood pool under me and instant killed (I was very slow avoiding it). I’ll try again tomorrow. Meanwhile, I’ll go for SoT again.
