Some Questions

Some questions.

  1. I once read in a table that for DA reduction to stack only if they arr worded differently. Blindside() and Flashbang, and Stonefist Rebuke.

Stonefist Rebuke says 90 refuced DA. Then its Rebuke Ability says 125 reduced DA. So will it be 125 or 95? I used to assume only highest but seing both on 1 item makes me question.

  1. I think I remember blindside (lvl 14-16) “ingame” say 200+ reduced DA, but the wiki say only 120~. Why is this? I will recheck later ingame.

  2. Which resistances are good to overcap?

  1. It’s 90 if you use the weapon regular attack, 125 if you use the special “Rebuke” attack.

  2. It seems the wiki is wrong, may not be up to date.

  3. Lightning if you fight Valdaran (Aetherial Nemesis), Aether if you fight Anesteria… that’s the hardest debuffs i think. Generally Elemental and Pierce are the easiest to overcap.

Overcapping resistances is useless against Anasteria. She uses “% reduced resistances” curse which is calculated off your capped resistance value. If you want to farm her, you should use a build with arcanist in order to nullify it asap.

Also Vitality VS Zantarin (or he can oneshot you with vitality barrage), poison VS Sentinel, fire VS Sharzul, etc.

only chaos and bleed arent good to overcap.

However, it’s very hard to overcap all resistances for all but few the most tanky and well-geared builds.

It’s wrong, you can overcap resistances so her resistance reductions wont affect you.
However, Anasteria can use TWO different resistance reductions (that stack with each other), one will affect you for whole fight and literally impossible to avoid, and other seems to be tied to an ability with decent CD, and its uptime is ~30% or so.

It requires at least 160% total res to overcap this curse. While it can be trivial for Fire, Aether and I assume Chaos are way harder to overcap. The second curse doesn’t even matter since she only needs to reduce stun res (this one is even harder to overcap) and then stunlock with two devastations running back to back while the curse is on.

Stun res is very easy to overcap with Overguard.

To be honest, in Crucible, Anasteria herself doesnt deal so heavy damage, but her resistance reduction makes other enemies (Salazar, Aetherial Abominations, etc) hit like trucks. The most annoying is that she has small model, always tries to run back from character and is very tanky. It’s very annoying to run after her when area is filled with other mobs, so i prefer to kill them first.
