There is colored line so skill transmutter that are not taken but due to graphical design decision this looks like it was takem, this are not rigth and confusing
Skills numbers are too close to icon, and this hinders the perception of the overall picture of which skills are taken, which are not, and how much in every skill are taken
If this label is shifted down a few pixels it will solve this issue
Personal preference i guess, but for me all the lines that encircle the skills are too bold, which leads to a visual mess on the screen that everything is highlighted, and this interferes with the correct perception of the overall picture of which skills are taken which are not
Perhaps making the outline 1 or 2 pixels smaller than it is now will help the skill view become clearer
There are still many aspect about the new UI one could improve. Crate did some changes to the new UI, but how much further they will change is up to them.
I assume it’s to show that the sub-skill/transmuter is available to put points into. The old UI also did this, iirc, as does Grim Tools. I think that needs to be shown somehow.
Don’t really get that. What would moving the label about do?
Again, don’t get that. Maybe the lines are too bold from an aesthetic perspective, but there is no doubting which skills are taken and which not.
My own gripe about this screen is that the blue (for skills boosted by items) is not blue enough.
I never saw it this way but I can see how someone would think this.
Well I don’t really agree here. The numbers still “appear” slightly blurry but I’m old and my eye sight ain’t what it use to be. It doesn’t really affect my play experience.
Yeah subjective. I suppose you could make an argument about the brightness of the boarder overshadowing the skill icon but, to me that’s the only thing and it doesn’t affect me on a personal level.
Honestly I am sad about Crate caving on some of the UI criticism. Nothing about it was something I couldn’t just look past (looking at you pointy dash arrow - even if you didn’t bother me at all). The game is still the great game it’s always been.
Constructive Criticism is given out of love for the game.
I’m sure Crate will ensure in their best ability that Grim Dawn will leave in a state that they can reflect back to and say we are proud of how everything unfolded.
