During the journey through the campaign the rewards from the faction bounties are sometimes overlooked.
Apart from the obvious bounties like kill Skeleton Knights, Revenants, Golems etc. as you are going that way anyway, there are actually many bounties that can be accumulated that can actually “kill two birds with one stone”.
One of my favourites is getting [Devils Crossing - “Cronleys Lackeys”] and then keeping it until I can get the [Rovers - “Cronleys Forges”]. Once you have both, head off to the common area in the Four Hills and claim BOTH bounties.
Another one that is worth accumulating is the [Black legion - “Fleshwarped Commanders”] and either [Homestead - “Aetherial Vanguard” or the “Dominators”]. All of these can easily be completed in the areas just south of Homestead in the Withered Fields.
There is another lucrative bounty pair in the Blood Grove and Darkvale with ["Kymons Chosen - “Gorgers”] and [Black Legion - “Devourers”], both are easy to find in the areas.
And, my favourite exploit is that just before taking out Thalonis, I make sure I have both bounties for [Black Legion - “The Bloodlord”] and either of the [Kymon or Deaths Vigil - “The Bloodlord”]. This one is a 3 way win as you get exp on killing Thanolis and also get extra two bounties from Black Legion and your selected cult.
There are obviously many more bounty synergies in the game, but these are just some of my favourite and often used ones.
