If I wear any item with + lightning dmg or put devotion points on + lightning dmg, would these dmg also become part of storm totem’s vit dmg??

No, if you take transmuter on +%vitality (or total damage) will work flat won’t.
If you don’t use transumuter then only +%lightning (or total damage) will work
