Suggestion about low requirement game

Hey guys,

could you please suggest some games that require no tough GPU (i use intel hd graphics for now), i want something interesting, dungeon crawler, strategy or whatever. Just anything that is interesting and fun to play.

The only games i play are titan quest and GTA 5, because grim dawn wont run without a dedicated GPU (lags like hell). And im kind of bored playing GTA 5, and i barely have any free time, so i want to make good use of my free time playing TQ and something new for now, until i get a new gpu when nvidia/amd release the new stuff.

Thanks

There’s Torchlight and Torchlight 2, Terraria and that’s all I can think of at the moment.

If you want to play some Classics, There’s Baldur’s Gate 1 and 2, Neverwinter Nights 1 and 2, Icewind Dale 1 and 2…

Can’t really think of anything else at the moment.

Well, I’ll just recommend games from various genres:

  • VVVVVV: Challenging platformer (although easier than Super Meat Boy)
  • Luftrausers: 2D-dogfighting, a bit simplistic, but nevertheless quite fun.
  • Age of Wonders Shadow Magic: Turnbased strategy game.
  • Stronghold (Crusader): Nice castle-building/strategy mix
  • Sacred (Gold): Old Hack’n’Slash, my personal Diablo of my youth, nostalgia says: highly recommended, but I don’t know how it holds up to today’s standards.
  • Risk of Rain: Roguelite with awesome soundtrack
  • Gothic 1 / 2: 3rd person RPG in a gritty medieval magic world.
  • Thief Gold / Thief 2 The Metal Age: Best stealth game there is!
  • Uplink: Wanna feel like a Hacker hacking banks, etc.? This is your game.
  • FTL: Not reaction-based Roguelite in space.
  • AI WAR: CPU-intensive game, try to overthrow the AI that controls the whole galaxy after eradicating almost all of humanity, unique strategy game.

And yes, the ones Nuggs listed as well (although TL2 might be too much for your system…)

Hmmm what about Divine Divinity ? Its like 10-15years old but i really liked it back then, its a hack n slash too.

While I love RoR and it is indeed not graphically intensive, he’ll lag A LOT if playing the game on integrated graphics. His processor would cry.

Civ V works surprisingly well on integrated graphics. Used to play it on one of my laptops.

Going through my Steam Library…

  • AI War: Fleet Command
  • Bastion
  • Binding of Isaac: Rebirth
  • Borderlands 1/2 (unsure about TPS)
  • Factorio
  • Fez
  • Killing Floor 1 (played a LOT of that while my main computer was in the shop)
  • One Finger Death Punch
  • SpeedRunners
  • Super Hexagon
  • Super Meat Boy
  • Terraria
  • Tower of Guns

Heroes of might and magic 3 :+1:

For RTS, you can’t go wrong with C&C Tiberium series, and Age of Empires (has HD version now). From even older RTS, try KKN’D XTREME, it’s very underrated game, and it still has website running…you can even download demo. Not forgiving for new players though, you have to manage all quickly to win (hard difficulty), no time to build pretty bases.

From other strategy games, I would recommend Homeworld series, because it redefined the RTS genre. Too bad remastered version doesn’t have Catalyst expansion.
