Suggestions and ideas

  1. Restrict hunters to bows or make it a choice.

  2. AI reallocation of villagers to live closer to their working place.

  3. Villagers don´t need to restock the home midsummer in which they aren´t living, that is happening when they are remotely mining and ignoring the temporary shelter.

  4. Auto priority on wall and fence building, preferably a toggle option for multiple segments.

  5. Right click to order. Clicking on a villager and right clicking on an “item” should make the villager pick up that item and do the most logical thing which in most cases is storing it.

  6. Villagers need to stop dropping stuff unless they are dying or being attacked, finish what you are doing, then you can stock your shelter.

  7. Remove circle of influence from rat catchers and make them act like compost collectors, make us hire more rat catchers if need be.

  8. Warning when a building is out of global stock materials for production, perhaps just an icon.

  9. Production limits. Upper and lower. 50-100 means you will produce until you have hundred and allow the stock to fall to 50 before resuming production. Needs to adhere to the global limit, not local.

  10. Ox cart mining project. For really far away mining you order a project at the townhall, 6 people, 40 planks, 6 tools, 200 gold and 400 provision of any food.

… Once assembled you click on the project and then on the mine you wish to venture to ( like the compost yard manure assignment) , upon arrival the miners stay there for exactly one season before returning with various yields. The miners will live off the land while at the location and use the 200 gold for trading. Events can be added such as deaths, early departure due to not finding enough food … etc.

It´s a one button event, you can´t control anything once the villagers are sent.

  1. Villagers don´t move out of their houses because they ran out of pottery, it just doesn´t happen. A mine opens in the vicinity and the guy, wife and kids move out watching their home from the outside while freezing to death. It´s just a silly thing, find other ways like f.ex. no taxes being paid by that house.

  2. Farmers need to tend to their farms first, that means hauling everything as well to the root cellars before they help other farmers.

  3. Bridges … … not really a priority but would be nice in many maps.

  4. Terrains need to have walking penalties, arid rocky ground wont slow you down much if the place is flat, soggy muddy terrain is however a nightmare to walk around in, especially after a good rain. Anyone who ever lived in the countryside knows this.

Yes everyone seems to want this. Can’t agree more.

Agree. In ‘real life’ villagers would talk to each other and talk to the rat catcher to inform them when there is an infestation. Doing it as a radius is silly and breaks the realism. It makes sense for the foragers and hunters because you might want more of certain gatherable resources. For the rat catcher it’s an unnecessary and unrealistic imposition.

This would be incredibly useful, and very realistic.

This, and then maps with more rivers and river based trading.
