I’ve been messing around with my pet build, is there a viable build that would include the Familiar or would it be better to never include the bird to the lineup? I’ve been currently using the Lazy Poke’mon build.
Many will tell you that the damage on the bird, relative to other pets, is poor. While this is true, the question shouldn’t be if it’s better or worse, the better question is if it’s worth getting.
And I would say yes to this because (last time I played a pet build), having too many melee causes a couple of them to stand around doing nothing. Raven, being ranged, does not contribute to this problem.
In my opinion, the heal isn’t good enough, the buff isn’t consistent and strong enough, and the nuke’s cd is far too long.
At minimum, 1 point is very good if you have a devotion to put on it. I personally go 16/16.
The Raven never dies, so it’s good for Devotion procs. I have gear that boosts it’s other spells, so I only put one point in them. It isn’t a DPS pet, though.
I believe there’s a belt out there that increases its damage by like 1000%
