Swapping just off-hand item

Is it possible to swap just the off-hand item when using the swap ("/") shortcut

For example, I would like to keep the same main hand weapon equipped but only want to swap my offhand.

I am guessing this is possible but I have not figured out how to do it

It is not possible, unless you clone the weapon and use it twice.

No, it’s not. But I’m sure there will be a mod that addresses this. ie one where you can switch between different sets with different resistance and damage types, while having gear in common for all of them.
