Before dismissing it as lunacy, I went ahead and checked if it is at all possible.
For that, we need to have access to MI for leveling. If itās not possible to get at LEAST 35% extra, itās probably not worth my time.
Zolhanās technique has 1 helmet and 1 1-h gun
Markovianās advantage has 1 dagger
Belgothianās shears has 1 helmet and 2 2-h weapons (35%)
Amarastaās quick cut has nothing
Whirling death has 1 helmet
Execution has 1 medal
Feral hunger has 1 helmet, 1 shield and 1 2-h weapon (35%)
Upheaval has 2 2-h weapon
Bursting round has nothing
Chilling round has 1 2-h gun and 1 medal (35%)
Storm spread has 1 1-h and 1 2-h gun
necrotic edge has 3 2-h weapon
Reaping strike has 1 helmet and 2 2-h weapons (40%)
Smite has 1 1-h weapon and 2 2-h weapons
Shattering smash has 1 shield and 2 2-h weapons
Bloodfang has 1 1-h weapon, 1 shield and 1 2-h weapon
Avalanche has 1 shield, 2 2-h weapons and 1 medal
For a lot of those, the MIs in question are pretty hard to get or farm ( the helmet for Zolhanās and Belgothianās is Ironeyeās casque⦠which only drops from a single boss in the expansionā¦)
Some are also not enough to rely on. (The 3 items that boost avalanche and the 3 that boost necrotic edge all only give 10%)
So belgo is also out
Chilling round relies on a 2-h gun that gives a whopping 25% that drops from a monster in Ashes of Malmouth⦠and a medal you can get from a single boss⦠inside a roguelike dungeonā¦
So chilling round:
The only ones that seem⦠doable are reaping strike and Feral hunger
Reaping strike: the helmet is real easy to get, and one of the 2-h weapon also. The other 2-h weapon would be better since it offers 25% instead of 20, but is found in AoMā¦
However: The helmet boosts aether and vitality, the first weapon boosts elemental damage, and the 2nd boosts acid⦠which would require me to stick to one of them ⦠or respec constantly.
Not impossible, but ⦠yeah, a real challenge
Feral hunger:
The helmet drops from FG, so is accessible fairly early. The 2 other options are fleshwarped bulwark and troll bonecrusher, which are everywhere.
Once I hit level 94, the only improvement would be 10% from a pair of gloves⦠and praying that I get really lucky with ascended affixes
Reaping strike however REALLY comes online once you can add legendaries, multiple options are there, and you can natively add 55% if you choose to go for physical damage (and get a good Korvan helm for it)
ā¦I think Iād rather try blade trap first
