After the next patch not the witch gods content, but after that which is the arena (survival one) were you fight hordes of monsters randomly, is that it, are you going to make more content. its better to know now because i dont want to start over after having 10 or so characters on steam cloud. So to not waste time and find out, no more official content and I have go to mod stuff.

Its better to know now, to not put in more time. The mod shabacle not being able to use mods while having cloud save, and another one not coming too me. I stopped playing. Until I can use mods with cloud save I will start again, its a kick to the face for people like me. Not being able to use mods with cloud save, and the other thing. For me its not worth continuing, I have talked to streamers on twitch. When I used to stream there, and they agree with me (of course I talk with logic.)

What’s stopping you from using cloud saves with mods?

I might be wrong but it is actually possible to save on steam cloud with mods.
I have been doing this since the beginning and didn’t have any issue O_o

They have at least 1 expansion planned beyond the hidden path and survival mode. Who knows when it will be released but there will be more official content.

Plus who knows, Crate surprised us with The Hidden Path maybe they will surprise us again with more content we were not expecting.

i think the misunderstanding comes from symlinking the main game saves to the mod folder…

cloud saves break that because it refreshes the files?

What does that have to do with anything? Are twitch streamers the holy grail of game development?

If that’s the case, why aren’t they developing games?

So youre telling me I can use mods with steam cloud save, ja or no. Because if I can then I dont have to transfer character, to drive save and continue to use cloud save.

People kept telling me you can’t use mods with steam cloud and cloud save checked in Grim Dawn.

You seem to be mixing a couple of different issues up in a way which doesn’t make sense to me.

  • Steam cloud vs mods. First verify if this is an actual issue. If it’s not, don’t worry about it. If it is, then bite the bullet now and move to local characters.

  • New content vs ???. Not sure what this has to do with anything. If Crate remains viable then new content will continue; online games are never “done”. This should not play into your choices regarding modding or character save locations.
