the DMG tooltip is Confusing

Now, the tooltip has been adjusted to show the damage value which gained from +%DMG bonus

and this is really confusing:rolleyes:

while my friend show me a skill or item, i considered it as garbage – look, just 500 Aether Damage!
however, that friend only got 0% Aether Damage bonuses
and i got +1900%. so i missed a good item:furious:
I can only know the truth if i take that item,or do some calculate:mad:

another Example. if I get +1900% Aether Damage, +100% Chaos Damage, and 100% Aether converted to Chaos ,then 100 Aether Damage
the tooltip will says: 2000 Aether Damage,100% Aether converted to Chaos,it’s cool
but in fact i got 200 chaos Damage,it’s foolish!:furious:

and there is still issues:
Transmuter,like Tremor , apply -20% dmg modified both to base skill Forcewave and Internal Trauma(Modifier). However,only the tooltip of Forcewave will update after you get Tremor.
And this is very serious problem at Phantasmal Blades( -75% dmg modified from Transmuter).only base skill dmg tootip will update.Nether Edge and Heart Seeker will still show the primal damage. I thought Transmuter will not apply to the 2 Modifiers – then I get stiffed.

so WHY NOT just show the BASE damage value like good old days?:o
of course I know I have +300% fire ,and 5 damage will scaled up to 2000

At least you can alter it as : 5(2000)fire damage,Yea?
