The Grim Poop Thrower

:man_playing_handball: + :poop: = :skull_and_crossbones: to :troll:'s! Woot :2nd_place_medal: that’s :100:% WIN!

I know it’s ‘meme’ and even added to a ‘rotation’ just for kicks, but I don’t know if anyone has done “Throw Feces” as their main damage. So, I shall give it a shot. I am sure I can get to level 100, but I doubt it would be end game viable… unless someone has some really gg gear meant for end game domination.

Yup. Finally got around to it. This is my character at the end of act 1.

Usually, I finish Act 1 around level 16-18, other times 18-20. First time I finished post 20. Odd.

L24 Poop Dps

DPS at level 24. Doesn’t seem like much, but I can one shot trash. Tougher trash takes 2-3 turds before it dies. Elites, Champs, Boss take a full spam load turds before they go splat.

I thought about posting per 10 levels, since that seems to be the norm, but the Soiled Trousers start at level 20. In place of “Throw Feces,” I used “Poison Bomb” from Mutagenic Ichor. It has a better animation imo, but it cost 32 energy vs 24. As for gear, I had some greens and blues set aside from other adventures. All other gear was from drops or at the vendor, as you would expect. Since the next upgrade for the pants is level 75, I foresee some issues as I get closer to 75. Hopefully my other gear I have set aside will more than compensate, but you never know.

Will be interesting to see what level I will be by the end of Act 2. If memory serves me correctly, I am in my mid 20’s by the time I start Act 3? I usually finish the base game around 45-48. Rarely do I hit 50 before I start on the Hidden Trail and Port Valbury. After those 2 areas, I start Ashes. After I finish Forgotten, I’m around level 62-64. I play Elite. I know I don’t have to; I can jump straight to Ultimate, but I do it because it’s fun.

Anyway, my plan is to use the Perdition set. 1: it’s 5 pieces of armor I don’t have to worry about 2: I have a full set of level 40, 65, and 94. 3: I need all the acid and poison damage I can get. 4: “Throw Feces” is close range, so I will get hit a lot and the acid retaliation will be more than useful. 5: I originally thought of my first playthrough with “Throw Feces” as a sword - n - board character, I just didn’t know what class to pick in addition to Oathkeeper.

As a side thought, I am thinking of acid damage transmutated Shadow Strike instead of using Blitz or Vire’s Might to jump into the mob scrum. Maybe even Nightblade + Occultist (Witch Hunter)? For second playthrough?

Devotions? I got really lazy with that. I just copied my Sentinel. As I play further, maybe I will need more damage and will rejigger my points. That I do not know. That’s all part of the fun.

Just finished Act 2.

Definitely noticing some issues with the undead mobs, especially skeleton archers. They seem to be the most resistant to poison/acid damage and the range on those archers hurt without pierce resistance. The undead boss at the Steps of Torment almost gave me my first death. I came so close 4 times, even with 80% fire resist. TP FTW!!!

In 3 levels, I will be rocking the Perdition set, so hopefully that will take care of the 40’s. Still sad that the next upgrade to the pants is level 75, such a long wait. But, I shall venture on. So far so good, save for the undead kicking my butt.

Okay. Act 3 is done. Still no deaths with memetastic build.

L45 Poop Dps

My next collection of gear from my mules is at level 50. They look like decent upgrades, but never know. I am sure I will be using some, if not all, before I start Ashes, especially since I like to run the Hidden Path.

Base game + Port Valbury and The Hidden Path is done. Time to head to Malmouth!

I dinged 51 after clearing base game. Port Valbury and The Hidden Path gave me 3 more.

L54 Poop Dps

Still no deaths, but I came really close vs. that bug queen while doing the Hidden Path questline.

So, I have finished Ashes of Malmouth. Still no deaths, but I almost went splat on the final boss.

L64 Poop Dps

Halfway to 65 and I have a ton of gear waiting for me, especially my first Perdition set upgrade. That should boost the dps a bit. Off I go to the next xpack.

End of normal difficulty

Finished normal difficulty, including the post Korvaak quests. I am about 80% into level 69. No deaths. I rejiggered my devotions. Now I shall start anew in Elite difficulty. I know I can go straight to Ultimate, but I like rolling around in Elite.

L69 Poop Dps

I had a little fun with the Kymon dialog.

So, I will do something a little different for the remaining levels. I have a stack of items waiting for me at level 75, 84, and 94. I will post at those intervals and of course when I hit level 100.

L75 Poop Dps

I finished Act 1 at level 73, about halfway to level 74. At level 75, my resistances aren’t all that great, but at least most are higher than 70 and the 2 lowest are above 50. That’s not including physical resistance. So far so good. No deaths. Knock on wood. Quest wise? I just started Twin Falls area. I am about to get Hargate’s formula. After that, I will go on an undead killing rampage with… POOP!!!

Notation: At level 77, I checked my mule and found out that I had 2 chests and 1 shield. With one of my level 100’s (didn’t know if it would make a difference, but I chose my acid damage Sentinel), I transmuted one of the chests (hopefully I picked the crappier one) into the shoulders. Only took 3 tries. On a different level 100 (by random I chose my lightning damage Druid) and made the sword. It’s Okay. But at least the acid damage is over 300 and the acid retaliation is over 500.

Of course, I have to wait till I reach level 94 before I can use the set. But at least I have another option besides the Perdition set. Now I will check the blacksmith to see what rings, amulets, and medals I can craft and add them (if I can) to the collection of goodies that awaits in my stash.

Notation: At level 80 I encountered Kubacabra. I killed him, still no deaths. Usually, I encounter him at level 83 or 84. As I was thinking about that encounter while in the Tyrants Hold (right before Etram Fald - Celestial Smith), boom goes the Nemisis horn. He came at me with a quickness too.

There have been a few attempts over the years.

There are some other items in the game you can get to complement the trousers.

Let me introduce my acid retal wardlord.

It can farm SR3031 and beat SR38.

Sentinel of the three set is best choice.

But I using fewmet off-hand is just for fun.

@Navious Not sure I can approve without Cauldron of Excitement :frowning:

The %RAtA is the same, so might not be too terrible? Hopefully!

Definitely a meme build with a crappy main skill, but it can be done (with plenty of extra damage from other sources!)

Oh someones GOT to make a set with the Poopy Pants!

We’ll need the Leaky Bladder belt (which allows the player to shoot0 a stream of Chthonic urine — much like the Flames of Ignaffar), the Hospital Tunic (which allows you to vomit a stream of acidic bile), and the Finger-Pull gloves, which, upon striking, releases a wide area of brown fumes that knock down nearby opponents!

Yeah, once I do a playthrough of Ultimate with one of my 100’s in the growing batch of alts, I will do that secret area for the other poop Items. If I decide to move on from Perdition set, I’ll see if I can work in that cauldron helm from Ashes.

Harbinger

Try it out. It’s a bunch of fun. Heck… maybe you could be The Grim Harbringer of Poop!

Navious

That is awesome. I’ll have to check my mules to see how much of that gear I have. Honestly, I have more greens and blues vs purples, but my collection of purples is growing with even character I level to 100, not including Grimarillion of course.

Bas

Hopefully. Time shall tell. I just need to be a bit patient. But… I am having a lot of fun so maybe I won’t have to wait too long. I can always scrifice a little sleep here and there.

RxJunkie

NICE!!! Two-handed goodness too. I was thinking of that when I saw Slithbane and later that big two-haned spiked maul with poison damage (green item from the boss in the Eastern marsh). Also, Ravenous Earth is a skill I haven’t used yet. Then again, I haven’t done too much with the Necromancer save for use it as a secondary class. I’ll add that to my character queue. I gotta make a Bomberman first though. By the way… nice transmog!!! Love it. The memes up there were perfect too. MR. HANKEY THE CHRISTMAS POO!!!

Harbinger

YUS!!! A thousand times!!! It would be perfect if it was a 2-piece set too. Even if it’s only usable in a mod, I would use that set in a heartbeat. Fe-Kul, the Master of Poop. Then you can rewrite the lyrics to Master of Puppets. The Master of Poop is clogging your toilets. Master! Master! See… It writes itself. It’s perfect.

End of Grim Dawn play, fading away
I’m your source of self-defecation
Cheeks that clinch with fear, that toilet is where
Leaking with your poop’s construction

Smell me, you will see
More is all you need
Dedicated to
How I’m pooping for you

Diarrhea sploding faster
Obey your master
Your butt burns faster
Obey your master, master

Master of poop is clogging your toilets
Twisting your ass and smashing your jeans
Nose blinded by me, you can’t smell a thing

Just call my name, 'cause I’ll hear you scream
Master, master of poop, poop!

Edit.

If you add a weapon to the ‘set,’ it could be a 1-handed gun. Could even call it… The Shatling! Dual wield that puppy for greater poopy goodness? WIN!

poop is so deadly, many have died because it throughout history :scorv:
it even once, in a different world, held the record(for a brief moment) of the fastest god slayer

This is very true. It is deadly. People used poop in/on traps throughout history. Dead bodies, lard, and spoiled food were used in catapults throughout history, I am sure poop was used too, especially if it’s lit on fire. Heck, North Korea uses poop, among other things, that’s delivered to South Korea via balloons.
