Awesome screenshot! I love the autumn look! Look at the leaves everywhere and the gorgeous rock!
Seriously, the leaves are really impressive, you can see the leaves on the tree in the bottom left! Sweet!
Also - Are those zombies with club arms or are those the other guys from the other shot using twisted zombie arms as clubs? These lookā¦ bigger.
EDIT: The shadows are truly impressiveā¦srsly canāt wait!
Seems like the red outline is thinner, and less red? And nice leaves!

Does our hero there look a bit washed out for any reason? Seems to blend in with the ground a bit. Is it due to the lighting effect on the monsters?
-Thinner red lide is more correct.
-Fall leaves are beautiful.
-Bigger spike maced enemies more badass.

The graphics of the game are amazing. The shadows, the textures of the environment, illumination of the explosion and even the smoke of the shot rifle is an A +. I think the textures of āzombiesā and the character shall go even better ā¦ The line has improved by becoming thinner, but it still seems strange, at least in a static image.
When I see a zombie with contour I think something ā¦ this zombie is totally retro!
The contour line before it was thicker, but also made the gradual change of color that diminishes this retro effect that the zombie won.
Well, I like retro games, so I vote in outline with thin line.:rolleyes:
A solution to not let the retro look with contour would make an animated outline. An example of animation would be: the red line emanating waves of heat, so it seems that the character is seeing the evil emanating from the monster.
This idea could even be embedded in the history of the game. āThe awakened can focus their vision: to see the souls of prestigious or corrupt beingsā:p;)
Great screen! A very very rich environment! Love those big autumn leaves (the coloring is completely awesome) and the ground textures
The thin target line looks much more stylized than the one from the previous screen, I must admit.
Now Iām just left wondering about the aftermath of that explosion, haha

I like it. The red outline doesnāt really look obtrusive anymore (to me), I think it fits well. I do wonder if it serves its purpose like this though.
Like many others, Iāve been anxiously awaiting the arrival of a new environment. You have delivered! You created it, and it was goodā¦
The autumn scene looks like it will fit very well into the Grim Dawn world while still being able to bring a little bit of color into it. The trees, leaves, and rocks look good. If I were going to nitpick something negative, Iād say the ground texture looks a little blurry and could probably use an upgrade. It doesnāt look as good to me as the other ground textures weāve seen. Iām sure itās not easy to make a realistic looking leaf covered ground texture though. Also, while actually playing I likely wonāt notice, but right now all we (and the rest of the world) have to see is this static image.
I do love the smoke effect coming off the gunās barrel. Very nice.
The shot is quite rough to me though. Maybe the AA is disabled, dunno.
The red outline is quite good but still I need to see video to judge about that. This outline also make the monster look like cartoon. Like Silverfall arts style.
The autumm feeling is designed very impressive. Along with the right soundtrack, it will make it much more better.

The flare effect is nice. And I think some other small things donāt need to be mentioned since I believe that when we played the game, we donāt even noticed those small rough edges.

And the red line looks Awsome as well probably not even noticable. and was there always smoke comeing out of the gun? i never noticed. that to looks awsome. the details in the leaves and every thing are awsome!

With the outlines, I canāt help but wonder how the game would look with black outline shaders (like in Borderlands).
I also wonder if the outline could be drawn smoother, it looks a bit pixely.
