I like, I like.
I’d suggest using this for the weapon to get some added RR.
Also you could always use the Blood Orb of Ch’Thon to do the Chaos conversion on EoR giving you 100% EoR.
Use can also use Rah’Zin’s Gem to add extra Chaos RR to Curse of Frailty - but after re-reading it defeats the purpose so maybe not…
OR you could use 2 Voidheart’s and a Mythical Sash of the Bloodlord if you need to keep the Shield and Sword as these would also convert all fire damage to Chaos so you can go full Chaos Sentinel and gets you heaps more Chaos RR which is really important and quite hard to find
But I’m a sucker for Chaos builds, I think Chaos is my favorite damage type so I like where you’re heading with this.
EDIT: Realised you’re already using the sash and a voidheart, so just use 1 more voidheart and you don’t need the amulet and can opt for Rah’Zin’s amulet
EDIT 2: misread the amulet modifier and realised it converts the Physical damage, not the fire damage lol… But the extra void heart would still go a long way in converting all the damage of EoR to Chaos.
Or just use Mythical Wrath of Tenebris with the 2 rings and the sash and you have 100% Physical and fire converted to chaos and 50% of the lightning converted
I couldn’t be bothered going into all of the components and augments, but here’s a meme build running the Scythe that converts all but 50% of the Lightning damage of EoR to Chaos with a decent chunk more Chaos RR.
Or, keeping your shield and amulet set up you can do this which still has a decent RR proc on the dagger.
I didn’t spend long on the skills so these are far from optimal, just playing around haha
Yeah I’m still considering this weapon. I would have to test to see if the -20% chaos resistance would actually perform better.
I really don’t like the idea of dropping the shield. The shield synergies so well with Oathkeeper skills that it feels wrong to not use it.
The low health and not capped resistances make me question the survivability of both builds. It makes me itchy to see a low health pool and uncapped resistances. Not that I’m playing hardcore, fortunately I left that playstyle some time ago, but I like a good balance between both offensive and defensive fields.
Thanks dude. Some interesting chaos EoR builds there, unfortunately the interesting ones are all 2h builds. It’s kinda difficult to make (and find) a balanced sword & board build.
The problem with the build is that the elemental damage is unconverted. Sure, you have phys and fire damage converted, but don’t forget that your %WD is tiny, and especially so with a 1H weapon.
Another thing is the lack of RR. It seems like you have less than 70% RR. You should gun for a minimum of 100%. Anything more than 120% is stellar.
You’re also wasting points in guardian. It adds nothing to the build.
This frees up your amulet slot for RR - you can use either divine conduit or rah’zins or even the mythical pestilence of dreeg etc.
Lastly you should gun for 26/16 EoR. It’s your bread and butter skill. At 26/16, it does 40% WD. Add 16% from the big fuck off scythe, and you’re really cooking with gas.
I agree with you in all points. The Guardian aura would help a little bit with the small amount of acid damage the build is doing, but yeah nothing significant. I guess all the other arguments you’ve presented totally defeat this build. Thanks for the input dude.

You will easily cap resistances and gain a couple thousand more health with components and augments.
Also, keep in mind even though you don’t necessarily have 20k health, this is still plenty and you gain a lot of life steal which adds a lot more sustain, meaning you don’t need to rely on the shield.
