Things needed in next expansion IMO

So I make finally my extreme cabalist build reach level 100 and I see few missed things:

1.No pierce/bleeding resistances components/augments for pets - few is needed but not only for rings/amu but for all armor parts - IMo you guys need add it n upcoming expansion components and augments with pets resistance for bleeding and pierce(around 10-15% each) for use in any armor parts…because now there is nothing curious in any armour components-augments - I only overcapping character resitances which are already maxed…because don’t have other choice also no pet components/augments or with extra skills/auras for “any armor part” equipment…This must be greatly enhanced - wide range of different pet bonuses/resistances for shoulders/chest,boots,gloves,trousers…
2.Maybe some extra skills/auras from augments/components for “any armour part”…
3.Dont remember its augments or components for medals - adding one is possible second ones not…Few posssibilities with extra skill from it will be great…
4.I’ve read you don’t want add affinity points in expansion and there will be skill points from quests propably…I think you should guys add 1-2 affinity points.This not change anything but allow get/finish one of constellation or get specific resistance node on one of it…
About skill points - how many will be of them?
I think there should be minimum 10 new skill points to get…Example 4 from
quests or 2 from quests 2 from hard boss…so we have 4 now 6 left - you can guys implement it to new game mode - after reaching certain point/checkpoint in it player gain skill point as reward(once per character) - of course every next skill point(from those 6) is harder to get because player must go deep/far in new game mode until get all 6…After getting all of them player can still go further but without this kind of reward…10 skill points don’t do big difference - it only allow to boost one aura or something.Or there should be way to get skill points infinitely(until reaching both masteries limit)but time-consuming depending of player strength of will.
5.Relics augments/components needed (some with extra aura/skill)

No affinity points just no! Adding even just one will ruin the beauty of devotion system. What they need to add is more alternative paths or in other words… more constellations! Not points.They already said 55 anyway is the final number so yeah there is your answer:p

10 skill points? god i hope not. Thats a lot of points to ruin build diversity. imo 1 or 2 is enough we dont need nore points actually but I think we will get 3 maximum if Xantai is generous.

Regarding pets I cant say much because I quit playing pet builds. But pets are strong end game if you know how to pilot them and feed them. I dont think any more augments are needed

  1. No more components, there are too many already according to Zantai.

  2. Movement skills from runes will go on medals.

  3. Devs have already said that level and devotion cap isn’t increasing. We will be getting a few more skill points.

Yes they needed - I dont like to be forced to use one specific mostly green weapon/sometimes weak legendary or other part because this part has bleeding resistance for pets…ATM there are not even single component/augment for pets bleeding/pierce resistance except seal of power only for weapon and shield which give on both double aura with only 24 % for pierce and bleeding for pets…But no other single component/augment with pierce/bleeding resist for pets excluding some specific weapons or equipment I don’t want to use because of its weakness…I do what I can and get all my character resist at 80 and all pets resist at 80% except pierce 72% and bleeding 24% without loosing any power - but that is all - cant make it perfect because of lack of res for pets on augments/components…

could one argue that pet builds do not “need” to be “perfected” since they are insanely strong as they are?

I think some tweaks could be made.

My suggestion would be to change the silly OP Rover consumable Wrath of the Beast of +100%/+100% crit to:

  • 30- 60s of bleed/pierce resist. Change the consumable name to something like Hardened Skin of the beast.

In my experience, those are the two least important resistances for pets anyway. No seriously threatening enemy uses pierce or has pierce RR, and only Kubacabra provides a bleed threat. Kubacabra can wreck skeletons because of it(they should probably be given base bleed resistance like the enemy skeletons have), but with the right builds its not a huge problem. Familiars do fine and Conjurers have Emboldening Precense. For pierce, Conjurers have Oak Skin and Cabalist have Shadowfiend Coil, and that is generally sufficient.

It’d be nice to have more options for sure, but it’s not really critical. In practice those two resistances on pets don’t make a huge difference the way pet aether/chaos resistances do.

I think a new tier one order constellation would be nice. Already we have some that grant 3 points (Leo and Dryad) and 5 points (Crane) and some multiaspect give 2 order. But there is no 4 pointer. You can do 3 plus crossroads but still would be nice to have a 4 pointer increment.

Having 10 extra skill points would have very little impact on builds to be honest.

I don’t know if it’s just the way I build, but I’m always point starved when making Saboteurs, and I’m actually happy I don’t have an exclusive to select from.

It’s not just you. Saboteurs are the most point-starved combo in the game, and always have been. Their itemization doesn’t help.

Sabos are indeed so bad that they need their own expansion to thrive :cry:

About Affinity points, if they increased them by -5, it’d be great. What I mean by that, I started to feel like Devotion system builds your character, rather than help it in the AoM expansion. 50 points were already huge, but 55 is just too much. After AoM hit, some builds could easily afford 2 or even 3! last tier constellations, while when you picked two before AoM it was like “HOLY SHIT HOW DID HE DO THAT IS HE A GOD WTF IS GOING ON!?” and now it’s like “oh, he picked 2 constellations, cool”.

I totally agree with the medal augmentation. If we had only skills in them, few builds would actually skip the augment because they whole skill bars are full. For example, my pet build had 22 skills (+ pet attack/move) and I had to sacrifice one pet iirc in order to even manage to have my skills on my bar.

GOD PLEASE FUCK OFF WITH AURAS! Literally, if the skill will give a fucking PFX attached to a character/all characters in range, fuck you. I even now sometimes want to turn off effects to just don’t see them. My bleedster is just a walking whirl of blades, even if I had trashy illusions put on my character, for example mixed Kymon, Lokarr and Markovian set at once, I’d still not even realize wtf I am wearing.

Pets can get pierce and bleed resist with enough effort, sacrificing some stuff in devotion and gear. On one hand it’s not a big deal, but on the other hand it is. I don’t care tbh. :stuck_out_tongue:
