I am trying to see a good use for this…And failing. It’s a L50, so it’s not really for leveling quicker. The proc is actively bad, so you want to avoid the proc…Maybe a retaliation build? I guess?
Someone, please enlighten me as to the purpose of this thing.

Ive used it before getting something better. On a strong build the proc doesn’t hurt much.
The game has a few negative procs, they just make things interesting IMO.
It can be good for a caster builds. And I believe you can use Nullification to remove the curse when it procs, although I haven’t tried it.

Its meant to be used with GazerMan and Boots of Unseen Swiftness for maximum masochism
Or a Spellbreaker could save Mirror and Blade Barrier for when it procs to become completely invulnerable for the duration of the proc. Ranged kiting builds can pull back easily as well (for the most part).
It dropped for me yesterday…I had a Yellow belt with 30% Poison Damage.
The extra damage is nice and the set of stat isn’t bad so I’m wearing it.
Most Trash fall in one hit so the Proc doesn’t hurt me at all there and facing boss as a ranged character quite often it won’t even proc. If it does it is during my cooldown from my own spell so I’m already kitting.
