Greetings! I recently finished the main story campaign and I saw the Ashes of Malmouth (what they are adding in game) and I have thought: how about add to the game mage stronghold (like Dalaran in Warcraft or the Circle of Magi in Dragon Age) and in that update tell the players what happened to the mages during and after the Grim Dawn. Be glad for the answer.
The next update will be various fixes as a hotfix and then some time in the New Year we’ll get the new rogue dungeon that wasn’t ready in time to be included when the expansion was released. That’s pretty much it for GD at the moment. There’ll be tweaks and improvements ongoing I’m sure, but I can’t see them adding what you’re suggesting.
Whether we’ll see another expansion or a GD2 has yet to be decided by Crate. At the moment they’re working on other new projects, some GD related and some that aren’t.
It would nice to have much better endgame in Grim Dawn. Sure, we have Crucible, but let’s be honest - Crucible is just an arena where enemies come at you from all directions. It’s far too simple and boring compared to what other games have (D3, PoE, etc). And campain is way too easy and boring for strong build with good gear, even AoM, even rogue dungeons, etc.
It would be nice to have a better endgame for well-geared toon. For example, rogue dungeons could have a “hard mode” (or several modes of difficulty), so they will bring a challenge (and a proper reward) to strong characters.
Or, add some randomly-generated dungeons, etc, etc.
That would also solve a problem of boring repetive farming for items like Chtinoc Seal of binding, etc. It’s plain stupid when your badass hero has to kill 10000 weak-as-fuck bloodsworn just to perform few crafts! There should be a faster way for tough enough characters.
Maybe you’d better get together with this poster.

Make a mod that does what you both want and then you’ll both be happy.
I agree with Mortal Kombat and I still have some thoughts meaning tell the storys of every game class (what happened during and after Grim Dawn) but to create a mod that is not an option to me because I am not have that much time and if developers will use my ideas I will be gald if not then it was interesting dialog and I wish taht the game will expand and grow bigger (locations story events and new gear).

I am in the minority who considers Rifts to be superior to Crucible. For anyone interested look into that ^
