I have a copy of B28 floating around, so I might go back to that to convert the items.
Alternatively, I will load them into my DB and once I support the new format, I can write them back to the new stash format, making the transition possible
I tinkered with the crafting a bit and it looks really handy Mamba! The only user friendly thing I would suggest is a [Craft] button to push that places your crafted item in the stash. It took me a little while to realize that I just had to click on the free space in the stash to get it to ācompleteā it and put it in there.
I certainly will keep the support for loading the old format (I implemented it already, why remove itā¦) and once the new format is supported for saving, this tool will definitely allow for salvaging those old transfer files.
Guess I will be holding off until then (which isnāt a big problem I was holding off until official release anyway) I have about three transfer files that I must haveā¦lol
āzxcvvā manage to update the item list in stash editor but before this new stash format.
here⦠his work
h_ttp:/_/ww_w31.zippyshare.co_m/v/iozYxCSX/file.ht_ml (remove _)
Except that his tool is a lot less polished from what I remember (havenāt followed your link to see if there are any changes, am typing on the phoneā¦)
It never used the new format. The difference now is that GD since B29 hotfix 3 no longer supports the old format, so anything you create in it you now cannot get into the game any more.
There is no real work-around. You need a copy of B29 hotfix 2 or an earlier build (B26 or so and up) that still supports the old format and thereby get it into B29.3 - or you just stay on B29.2, which is what I did.
Of course if you upgraded already, you have to find a version of it first as you cannot roll back in Steam. So chances are there is no legal way for you to do thisā¦
All of this is temporary, I intend to support the new format once information on it is available.
Are you still using Java? How is it cross platform? A lot of tools like this fall over when they canāt access the windows registry to find where the game is installed.
Itāll be good to have something that is not written in C# as dotnet and Wine donāt play nice together.
Yes, it still is Java, I am not looking at the registry, you specify the GD installation path when configuring the program.
Havenāt really tried anything but Windows, mostly because I have no other OS installed, but I donāt see any reason why it would not work on Linux or Mac either.
