[Tool] GD Stash

I have the same problem, get a memory error in Java. Would it be too much work to have the mass import work with a file selector? Then you could just select 2 or 3 of your .gst/.gsh files to import at a time.

Also, I get an error when i try to Move to Stash after the following sequence:

  1. Item->Move to Stash
  2. Restore Stash (without saving stash)
  3. Same Item->Move to Stash
  4. Error

I can still Move it, but only after I delete it from the stash first. It’s not a big deal, just a head’s up.

Suggestion: Is it possible to have the search results list auto-refresh when you Delete an item from your stash?

Do you have a 64bit VM ? If not please install one, assuming you are on a 64bit OS. I am surprised you get a heap error here but not during the DB import…

As to selecting 2 or 3 files only, you have two per dir only I assume, so could you not just select each dir individually ? Kinda defeats the mass import idea… then you might as well use the Transfer page

When you say error, is that simply that the item already is in the stash ? If so, that is correct, you did that in step 1

I prevent you from storing the same item (determined based on item type, seed and some other criteria) in the stash several times, as that would only be pointless duplicates.
You deleting it from the stash means you can move it to the stash again as it no longer is a duplicate.

Does not sound like an error to me.

I definitely should actually, will add that

That’s what I figured, but just thought I’d mention it. So far everything else works great!

Right, except stuff like medals which has a built-in level.

Is there no info stored in the DB on the level at which they start being used to generate loot?

Another Suggestion: In the search, it doesn’t indicate if the stored item has a component attached. Would it be possible to: a) indicate that in the result list? (maybe with the item name “Ring of Green Awesomeness (Black Tallow)”) and b) have a search option to search items that have/don’t have/either a Component Attached?

Sorry, that’s a dumb question but : i downloaded Java SE Development Kit 8u66 but, how do i use it? ^^’ i’m totally noob when it comes to that kind of things.

Awesome work Mamba!
This tool will come in very handy for everybody
And congrats on the first stash related release

BTW: You should probably add the download link into the starting post and update it as it’s kinda frustrating to dig throught a 24+ pages thread to find it

Edit: Nvm, with this post it’s 25 pages long

Level at which they start to drop you mean ? In the drop tables there is, but I am not sure why that would be relevant, they still can drop with low level affixes, making them low level items.

What are you trying to accomplish ?

You do not use it, you just install it.

Once it is installed, the JVM will start when you double-click the gdstash.jar file, ie the jar acts just like an exe file for you

Well i got an error, so i though i had to
everything works fine now, i’m sorry.

edit : would it be possible to reduce the size or have scrollbarsin the search window? even with 8 in font size and 50% graphic scale the search window is slightly too big for my computer screen. otherwise, really great tool, that’ll be usefull!

Can the editor create dynamite?

Never actually checked, I would assume you find it under quest items

Got an error when trying to load my transfer.gst:

item records\items\gearaccessories
ecklaces\c029_necklace.dbr not found in database

Then that should be an item that no longer exists

Hey mamba can you tell me what’s wrong with my case

Not yet, real life is getting in the way

I looked that up, and it’s a Bramblewood Amulet, which definitely still exists.

Not really, it definitely is an epic amulet based on the naming scheme in GD, to know which one specifically would require a database.arz that contains it.

How far away is release I no longer have time to stash swap to store all my items anymore and my main room inventory is nearly full of items that I don’t want to get rid of so I really need this. …
