It sounds like you did not click the correct download link?
Based on your post, it sounds like for 1.12 you downloaded the Windows 32-bit executable, but with your download of 1.14 you did not.
The Windows 32-bit download link is the second link provided on the first post.
ok i switched out to the 32 bit one, now it says:
āācould not find the main class: org/gdstash/ui/gdstashframeāā
is it from mods? i had a lot of mods going on lol
No, I doubt mods are the issue, this is more related to the GD Stash app. Mamba will need to look at that.
mods have nothing to do with this. Please uninstall and reinstall. That class is definitely included and the executable 1.1.4 works for me, so not sure what is going on there.

I solved my problem, uninstalling and installing did not help.
what i had to do was navigate to:
c:\users(name)\gdstash
and delete everything in that folder and reimport database and save/installation directory.
so if anyone brings it up in the future thats one possible solution.

that would also delete all items you collected, so it is not really a solution unless you have a fresh installā¦
Not a terribly important bug, but since 1.14 all the component stats are displayed wrong. For example:

So i have a huge problemā¦
for some reason, grim dawn wasnt correctly identified by steam anymore (i didnāt do anything for that to happen).
I told me to install the game. So i āinstalledā it, but it just chekced old installation and was completed in a few seconds.
Since that happened, the GD Stash didnt register. Anything i did in the stash in the acutal game didnt change the GDStash program strash at all and vice versa.
So i tried various things and in my rage, i deleted the User\GDStash file and tried to import data, but it didnt work and all my collected items were gone. Realizing i have done a mistake, i took the old files out of the stash (i didnt delete them from the bin) and overwrote the ānewā User\GDStash, but that didnt help.
ā> all saved items are gone. i canāt use GD Stash anymore as it wonāt register stash. GG iām basically done with grim dawn.

I donāt see anything in your post that canāt be corrected via the use of any number of utilities that can be found within these forumsā¦ this very subsection no less.
Secondā¦ are you running mods? If you are and you donāt have a vanilla toon with a vanilla stash with something stored in it then GD Stash wonāt detect the save directory correctly and tend to freak outā¦ mine was obsessed with Grimarillion for example.
sounds like you might have used cloud save in GD and configured local saves in GD Stash or vice versa, which is why changes in one were not reflected in the other

not sure why that would not help, the dir contained your items, so deleting it did also delete them, but restoring it should bring them back
You can always just create items on the Crafting page, not as good as actually getting them back, but maybe better than not having any items any more
Hi can anyone point me to a thorough guide to setting up gdstash? I downloaded the file and extracted it but I canāt seem to find the .jar file to actually start it.
Had the same problem, my firewall blocked GD Stash for some reason.
Whitelisting it turned everything back to normal.
Username - GDStash - GDStash executable jar file is where mine is.
Unzip in a dir of your choice, doneā¦
The .jar is in whichever dir you extracted to. Do you show file extensions in the explorer settings ?
It should be the largest file in the dir, so sorting by size should make it essy to find.
You no longer have to set up links to databases. just unzip and start up with the .jar file. its that simple really. I never had issues.
nope, i only use vanilla / cruicible.
OK, i got the stash to work now, it shows the real stash. my database is still gone. i prly didnt overwrite the new one with my old one correctly. Canāt seem to find the file with Recuva (recovers deleted files)
100 legendarys gone. fuck that.
ā¬: nevermind, you can cheat all items in the game. if i had known that i wouldve never started using this. that takes away all the fun.
Nobody forces you to generate any item, you can use the tool just to store items. And btw, for me being able to generate any item in game allows me to teorycraft in minutes any build in game (think path of building in poe). For me itās all the fun in the world!
