[Tool] GD Stash

I guess that might be it. Whenever I try to load Reign of Terror I get a huge list of warnings and all the tabs at the top are grayed out and can’t be clicked.

With Grimarillion, the new components and augments show up just fine but anything pertaining to crafting gear with +1 to one of the new masteries never appears.

I see! Thank you for the explanation then, I was not sure if that was normal.

That is pretty much impossible. If it gets reset (which seems to be random), you are using cloud save. Never heard of anyone having that issue who was not using cloud save…

works for me

Reign of Terror on the other hand doesn’t load at all.

agreed, apparently one of its .arc files is too large for the Java Buffer class (limited to 2GB it seems…).

I assume I do not really need that particular .arc file (sounds_new.arc), so might look into skipping files that are too big or finding a different way to buffer

I guess I’m just very terrible at even using this simple program. Big part is that + to skills or entire mastery are limited to certain slots which I can’t ever remember.

I simply search all item types

I was leveling a Trickster at level 51.

The game was not going well into elite difficulty (arrived at homestead) because I had not done a good job upgrading gear and didn’t really have good stuff for muling.

I use GD stash to save items I might find use for in the more distant future. Anyway, I went looking through it for basically the first time. I went to character transfer, searched for an item I was looking for, copied it into my personal stash and saved character. I restarted game and my trickerster was level 1 starting over again at the beginning in normal difficulty.

I’ve previously transferred a few items into my shared stash (without any problem) but this is this first time I’ve transferred directly to a particular character.

Is there something I could have done wrong?

Are you using cloud saving? That can screw things up.

When you are using cloud save and have GD running at the same time, it sometimes gets confused and resets the char. The same can happen to the shared stash.

GD Stash makes a backup of the char before writing it, you should have a player.g00 which contains the old char and can rename that back to player.gdc to get back the old char data (copy it back to .gdc instead of renaming it, so you still have a copy).
Also do this only when GD is not running, as this too might cause cloud save to reset the char.

Version 1.2.9 released

  • Support for 1.0.7.0 char file format
  • No longer allows saving of cloud chars while Grim Dawn is running

Another awesome update. Whatever you did Reign of Terror now works with GD Stash.

Yes, I removed the 2GB limit for arc files. While the standard Java buffer class is limited to 2 GB, the underlying file class is not.

aww still no Noire option available ;(

it should be available, unless I forgot to bundle the .jar. If you see the JTattoo themes at all, one of them is a Noire theme

I also notice that the noire theme is not there, I have the same as with 1.28.

I clicked by mistake on “add all blueprints”… how do I revert that? it completely ruined my game if I cant.

The theme was in 1.28 as well… it is definitely there, go to the Config page, select the Look & Feel drop-down list and scroll to it’s end. There you should find JTattoo - Hifi and JTattoo - Noire, both are dark themes.

I’ve been using GD Stash for awhile now, no problems. I recently purchased and installed AoM. I’m pretty sure I successfully opened the stash once on my current charcter, marked AoM in the dropdown.

Today, when I open that character, the stash doesn’t match what I see in game (namely, a full inventory). Instead, it shows a mostly empty inventory and items that I don’t think I’ve ever had in my stash — some yellows and whites.

I’m on GD via GOG, cloud saves turned on, but I’m pretty careful not to open Stash until saves have synced, and never while game is running.

Any help on this? Thanks in advance.

where do you mark AoM, are you talking about the ‘AoM’ in the char description in the drop-down list ?

Today, when I open that character, the stash doesn’t match what I see in game (namely, a full inventory). Instead, it shows a mostly empty inventory and items that I don’t think I’ve ever had in my stash — some yellows and whites.

the tool shows the items the char has in the inventory, it cannot make up items. If the items do not match what you see in-game, then you selected a different char.

It possibly would not show all items and tell you so, if items in the char’s inventory are not in the tool’s database (e.g. because you have not imported the GD data after purchasing AoM, so the tool does not ‘know’ any of the AoM items), so that could explain why you do not see some items, but it would not explain why you see items that are no in the inventory.

Sorry I only see:
